Energetic tour guides - Michael & Sarah were funny, energetic and informative. We walked to a variety of sites, which was fun, but be warned the terrain at times was steep or uneven.

Great tour great guide! - Our second visit to Edinburgh and second time booking with Mercat… absolutely loved it just as much the second time too! All the Mercat staff are always very friendly & professional, and we LOVED our tour guide Stephanie! She was very friendly and a great storyteller, she made the tour exceptionally enchanting! Loved her personal anecdotes on tour experiences, and her first-person telling of some of the stories… she really brought the creepy history to life! We will definitely book again with this company on our next visit to the UK! Thank you Stephanie and Mercat for a great time!

Fun time, great tour! - Our guide Jason gave a great tour. He was very theatrical and very knowledgable of the history of the area. It was a beautiful evening as well. The meeting spot was very easy to find. We enjoyed the underground part the most. In my one photo we can see a person, with people surrounding her. This was supposedly in the room with a female spirit. Spooky and a fun time for all!

Excellent guide and tour! - Our guide, Linda was super warm, knowledgeable and wickedly funny! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The only thing was, it was very windy so this affected the mic and our headsets a bit during the initial outside parts. Otherwise, a fantastic tour and wonderful guide!

Excellent spooky tour - Mark was an amazing tour guide. He really brought history to life and his interest and knowledge about the tour really made a difference. Great tour, loved the stories and with the headphones, none of us missed any of what he said. Highly recommend
