100% Recommend - Great Experience! My friend and I went and had a blast. The actors are excellent and make it a very immersive experience by interacting with the group. I had gone once before a good few years back and I can safely say I feel like it’s the kind of experience that gets better each time you go! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something scary, sprinkled with some history!

Fantastic! - The actors were absolutely fantastic. They were so good at their jobs and made the experience so fun. Not recommended for kids under 13 or for people who scare easily. Had a blast here. Would return.

Not for the faint hearted - We went without any knowledge what this tour was about. When we arrived, we were the only 2 guests and we were told that this was like a haunted house experience with historical back stories of Edinburgh. We were so glad that 2 other guests can along to join us. We had loads of fun with this interactive tour filled with scares and history. Maybe the true stories behind made the whole tour scarier. The tour ended with a scary ride. Fun!

Great experience - Great experience from start to finish. Characters were brilliant, and had the audience captivated! Polite and curious when not acting. Great experience.

What’s not to like - So much fun Not so much scary but there are certain parts that make you jump/lights off/special effect. It’s more comedy than anything else and the staff are what make it Every staff member fully gets into the experience and the acting, although some what cheesy is fantastic and they all stay in character throughout. They do rely on audience participation so not so good if you are with a boring group of people 🫣

A must if visiting Edinburgh - If you are traveling to Edinburgh and enjoy history and a bit of horror I highly recommend visiting this place. It has a fun experience and very good actors. Good to know is that it is an interactive experience, ie the actors can select you to share a little.

Bit of a let down - Could not see what all the hype was about. Expected it to be a lot scarier. One of the people in the group had her phone on all the time and we were told a couple of times at the start to have no phones on. She got shouted at when we entered one of the rooms. The last room we entered was the best, he was a very good story teller.

Waste of time and money - Very boring. Neither scary nor funny. The artistes did attempt sincerely for funny narratives, but except the initial courtroom scene I didn't find any other scene funny enough. It was so boring that I was falling asleep often. The drop ride was probably the best part of the experience. The scripts need a rewrite and the spookiness must definitely be increased if it's supposed to be a spooky show.
