Highlights
  • Little Fish Tours - This tour meets just off the iconic Royal Mile at our personal, custom made, whisky venue.

We have the entire downstairs of the bar reserved for us, giving us plenty of space and privacy to conduct our story orientated evening.

Over the next two hours we will drink four outstanding Single Malt Scotch Whiskies taken from the four major whisky producing regions of Scotland. These whiskies will range from the relatively delicate and subtle flavours of the Lowlands to the bold and robust tastes from Islay.

Scotland has a deep routed story telling tradition which centres around the idea of people coming together, sharing good times, good stories and good whisky with each other. The role of the story tellers was a highly respected position to hold in ancient Scotland.

During this tour we are going to revive some of that storytelling tradition and explore the significance of whisky to the Scottish identity whilst tying in some great tales taken from across Scotland.

Amazing Scotch experience! - Max was an amazing host! We tried Scotch whisky from four regions of Scotland and enjoyed learning about how Scotch is made and hearing entertaining stories. I used the hate Whisky, but really feel like this tour helped me enjoy it more! We had a great experience!!

Came for the Folklore and… - Came for the folklore and was not disappointed!!! This event took place in a unique and intimate setting. Our guide, Coffee, drew us in from the moment he started our evening and honestly, I could sit and listen to his stories for hours. He was fun and engaging and uniquely tied his stories to the four Scottish wiskies we tried throughout the evening. Sadly we couldn’t stay for the full event, because we double booked ourselves for one final tour in Edinburgh that evening, but I think this is fantastic way to take in the city and its rich history. Highly recommend for anyone looking to taste a part of the Scottish culture!

Great whisky tasting and entertaining evening.. - The whisky tasting was well organised and easy to follow. I chose this particular one for the entertainment value as opposed to going to a distillery, which is interesting but having done that in the past I was looking for something a little different. Koffe made the evening fun and entertaining with his story telling and witt and accents! As a solo participant I was made to feel very much welcomed and a part of the group. 4 great whiskies were chosen for the tasting and showed only a fraction of what a whisky taster can do to your taste buds. Definitely recommend this if you want something a little different. Thank you Koffe 😊

Great Night with Whisky & Folklore - This was a highlight for us. We’ve done many whisky tours, and this tasting paired with engaging storytelling was our favorite. Highly recommend.

Can't Go Wrong with This Whisky Tasting Experience - Such a great experience. I loved the stories about Edinburgh and Scotland; and of course the whisky. Our guide Georgia was very charismatic and engaging with the crowd. There were also some people who didn't like whisky, and they were offered alternative drinks. I would recommend this to anyone going to Edinburgh!

Everyone will enjoy! - I am NOT a whiskey drinker, but went with my husband and friends who are, and I had a great time! If you didn't want to try the whiskey they offered alternatives, such as cream whiskeys to try. Our Guide had so many fun stories and histories about whiskey to share! I came away with a whole new appreciation for the history behind Scotch whiskey and the process of making it. Would HIGHLY recommend, even for non-whiskey drinkers such as myself.

We were late and they... - We were late and they were very gracious! Hilarious storytelling and great whiskey. But if you want to drink whiskey be sure to choose the whiskey drinking option and check twice- the website is confusing
