- Luang Prabang - 9:30 am –10:00 am: Pick up by our English speaking guide from your hotel lobby within Luang Prabang, Laos (30-minute drive to Elephant Sanctuary, 15km).
Upon arrival at the Elephant Sanctuary, you will be welcomed by the elephant keeper who will provide a briefing about Asian elephants and the rescue protection project.
Visit the elephant hospital, museum, gallery, and dung paper-making facility to learn about the efforts to create natural habitats for wildlife.
Enjoy watching the elephants as they have their breakfast; you can also donate a few baskets of bananas to them.
Walk with the elephants from a safe distance to the riverside as they go for a bath and play in the river. We will stand at a safe viewing point to observe the elephants playing in the water, where you can take many photos of the happy elephants.
After lunch, we will continue our drive to Kuang Si Waterfall, a lush jungle habitat for wildlife such as bears.
We will return to the city by 5 pm to enjoy the sunset.
(If guests opt for the half-day tour, we will drive them back to the center of town near their hotel, which is on the same route to Kuang Si Waterfall.)
