Worthwhile Elephant experience, must do if in Thailand! - Although this experience is on the pricier side it is definitely worth your money and time. The staff were extremely informative and friendly. They provided us with hats, bags and water so that we wouldn’t have to carry backpacks around. It was evident that the elephants were well taken care of and embrace the visitors. They are very friendly and we had a lot of fun feeding them, taking photos in the jungle and swimming with them. They also provided us with tea and coffee as well as an abundance of food for afternoon tea. The facilities were clean and overall very scenic location. 10/10 would recommend!!

A Magical Experience that is once in a lifetime. - We did not have an expectation for the Elephant Home Sanctuary but we were blown away. This by far was one of our highlights of our trip and the time spent there will be a lasting memory that we share to our friends, family, and anyone traveling to Thaliand. This experience captured the magic of such amazing creatures. From the time preparing their food, feeding them breakfast, walking with them on the mountain side, and then the mud bath, and giving these elephants a bath together. The overall day was just captivating. Must do!

Amazing experience - Had the most amazing time at this elephant sanctuary. All the guides were very knowledgeable and kept us safe at all times. The sanctuary was well thought out, plenty of showers to change in and food was fresh and plentiful. The elephants were well cared for and we had plenty opportunities to interact with them. Would highly recommend this trip as the highlight of our stay in Koh Samui.

Great elephant experience with our family - A wonderful santuary devoted to the care of these sweet rescued elephants. We loved making their food, feeding them, interacting with them in their natural environment and seeing the baby Lucky! Giving them a bath was the icing on the cake and such a cool experience.

Ethically great concept - wonderful animals & people who give elephants a great life without violence or coercion - A great concept for rescued elephants. Here the animals are nursed back to health, without violence or coercion. The elephants receive tourist visits in the morning (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) and in the afternoon (2 p.m. - 5 p.m.). The tourists have the pleasure of preparing the meal and feeding it to the elephants themselves. Afterwards there is a guided tour of the jungle. Afterwards the tourists are allowed to wash the animals. This is a unique event. It is worth every cent! Many thanks to the entire team at Elephant Home :)

Great ethical care and home concept for rescued elephants. The wishes of the elephants are taken into account. - Wonderful concept for rescued elephants - ethically great concept and highly recommended for tourists. The elephants live free from coercion. Since it is about caring for previously mistreated animals, a program is offered for the animals. Eating, bathing, etc. Tourists can be there for everything and touch, feed and wash the animals. At the same time, the animal keepers are supported in their work. No violence is used. The area is very large. Fortunately, riding elephants is prohibited here!

Best morning with amazing elephants - Picked up in nice clean minivan from hotel. Dropped at the sanctuary welcomed with drink and snack. Safety explained. Had a sudden downpour so the staff moved everything over for us to prepare the elephant food which was fun. Got to feed them. Led to an area where the elephants can just wander and eat more! Photo opp. Back to centre where watched them have mud bath and then we were able to wash them. Wonderful. Then an amazing lunch. Staff were very very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It seems the elephant welfare is at the forefront of this. Lovely touch with the video at the end. Would definitely recommend

Half Day Tour - Very well organised and the guides were extremely informative. We gained so much more knowledge on elephants. It is abundantly clear that this sanctuary looks after the seven rescued elephants with a lot o love and care. Thoroughly recommend the tour. We were provided with lunch and for my husband it looked amazing, however if you are coeliac like me, it was just a basic omelette and steamed rice. so maybe take something with you, or at least some gf soy and oyster sauce to give some flavour.
