Recommended - Dinuka is such a fun guy to go on a tour with. His knowledge and humour is a treat. He likes his Lions cold and is truly the lizzard wizard. I would definitely go on a tour again with him. And yes, the trip to the waterfall is worth it. Beautiful views and refreshing baths.

Diyaluma nearly to myself - I was picked up in a timely manner and pretty much spent the day there. Dinuka didn't rush me at any of the pools I swam. The trail he chose was good with only a few strenuous places. Not being the one carrying my pack with heavy water made it easier. I was warned about the slippery areas and helped where gravel caused me to slip a bit. The pools we stopped at were nearly vacant. Lunch was very good as was my humourous and intelligent guide. The fact I made a slight change of plans the night before wasn't a problem. I really felt catered and would book again.

Diyaluma nearly to myself - Dinuka was a super guide for me and Boney our tuktuk driver was great. Slight change in plans was not an issue. I was picked up promptly and we breezed through the checkpoints (due to curfew) because Dinuka had the foresight to check with police department and get clearance to take me. Our morning departure time, meant we beat the crowd of of locals that would come after noon. The hike was made easier for me as I was the one carrying my pack with the weight of of water. The path he selected to go there was well thought out. Slippery places were pointed out to me and places in the water that could be dangerous. The pools were fabulous and I was never rushed while opting to swim in various pools and sit under the falls. The conversation including a good sense of humor were a pleasure. I enjoyed a good lunch with good people.

Incredible experience with experienced and super friendly tour guide - I had an incredibly nice day! Dinuka was the best tour guide I ever had. He has an impressive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area and guides you perfectly through the day. Dinuka and his driver respond to individual wishes and ensure an unforgettable experience. Throughout the trip Dinuka took pictures of me and proved to be a very talented photographer:) The views at the various spots are really incredible and there are many ways to go into the water. The accompanying food was also super tasty and Dinuka has some super nice surprises for one throughout the day. The mood was totally exuberant and I enjoyed every second. I would recommend this trip to anyone!!:)

Perfect Day with our guide Dinuka. - We had an unforgettable trip with Dinuka. We were picked up on time at the hotel by him and his driver and felt safe the whole way. Dinuka showed us the places of worship on the way to the waterfall and stopped to make a "wish" to the gods for us, which we found totally thoughtful. He also has an incredible knowledge of the country, the culture and of course the flora and fauna. We saw and learned a lot the whole way up and down to the waterfall. From wild lemongrass that we could smell, to numerous lizards that he spotted for us, to an elephant that was very far away, but which we were able to observe through the binoculars he had brought with him. In addition, the waterfall itself was of course totally breathtaking and Dinuka made sure that we had enough time to swim and he also took lots of photos of us so that we had a souvenir of the day. The highlight was that he brought us tea from coconut cups and cookies so that we could have a little picnic at the top of the waterfall. There were also other surprises, which made us really happy. Afterwards, everything was rounded off with a delicious lunch witch was included (like everything else on this day). An unforgettable experience - The trip was very nice and made even more interesting by all the information provided by Dinuka. It was all very pleasant: the view, the vegetation, the spectacle of the waterfalls, swimming in the natural pool, tea, lunch. Serious guide in Ella for a 7h tour of waterfalls - Dinuka is a very good guide with a wealth of knowledge about Sri Lanka's flora and fauna. He took us on a tour of the waterfalls while avoiding the tourists. The restaurant included in the price of the tour was very good. I highly recommend him !

A great trip - This was one of our best trips at Sri Lanka. We saw a lot of beautiful waterfalls and viewpoints. Dinuka is the best guide we had. He speaks very good English and he knows a lot about the nature. He took a lot of good pictures from us and had some surprises for us. He gave us tea in coconuts, some souvenirs and some good local food and snacks. He made a great day for us.
