Wonderful Lake District Experience - David is a spectacular guide who is so friendly and funny. He's very accommodative too. My parents and I had a wonderful time going around the Lake District. The car was comfortable and we got very lucky with the weather as it was sunny when David drove us up to a fantastic view for photos. We also thank him a lot for introducing us to Grasmere Gingerbread - we went back the next day just to get more. Overall 10/10 experience and highly recommend David for a private tour of the Lake District!

Best Tour in the Lake District - David was an incredibly informative guide who showed us so much of the beautiful Lake District. He has an excellent knowledge of the history of the District and of all the most scenic places to see. His tour really gave us an in depth introduction to the area, his car was comfortable and roomy, and David himself is a most personable gentleman. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Amazing private tour of the Lakes - An excellent day spent with David, our super knowledgeable and personable tour guide. We got to see so many fantastic places on our tour of the lakes, with & in depth commentary along the way, the time just flew by ! Could not recommend this tour highly enough. On our next visit we intend booking David for a walking tour.

Brooks Tours.. The Best! - David Brooks is absolutely Excellent! Just wonderful.. knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us .. from the time I emailed him .. months before.. responsive.. helpful.. just again wonderful. My husband & I just adore David.. he picked us up at the Oxenholme train station toured the afternoon.. We stayed at a Wonderful B&B on his recommended! Something out of a Fairy Tale! We spent the next day doing Beatrix Potter and The Lake District! I know The Lord resides in the Lake District! So beautiful! I was there 30 yrs ago! I could go back tomorrow! If you are looking for the Best and the Nicest… David Brooks is it!

A fantastic tour - Despite living in England for over 25 years, my husband and I had never visited the Lake District. David prepared a phenomenal tour giving us a broad and interesting overview of the area. He was knowledgable, punctual, friendly and accommodating. We will certainly be back to further explore this breathtakingly beautiful part of the country. And it will not take us 25 years to return! Thank you David for a wonderful and memorable day.

Not to be missed - My partner & I wanted a taste of the area at the beginning of our 7 night stay by Lake Windermere. 8 hours flew by as David weaved his way through the sometimes challenging roads, going from one location to the next. He is very engaging and has a broad knowledge base to call on. Every question was answered and every request accepted. David treated us with the utmost courtesy and at the end of our tour, we really felt that we had known each other far longer. Many thanks for making our holiday that little more special.
