Highly Recommended - David is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this beautiful region. The tour is a perfect length and good pace. David will take you to see some of the best views with excellent photo opportunities, and you will learn about the history and hear stories the lakes and fells along the way. Ideal for newcomers like ourselves, or those who have already discovered the area and are returning for more. At the beginning of your stay, it will provide you with ideas on where to explore further, or at the end it will give you an incentive to return, we certainly will be back. Thank you David.

We loved learning the history of the area and nothing was too much trouble going out of his way to show us the best photo opportunity. Would highly recommend to anyone.

getting to the highest point in the lakes and seeing the 3rd smallest house in the country. - We had a brilliant time. Our tour guide David was amazing with all the knowledge of the area and showing us the best places on such busy day as weather was good and lots of tourists around. We managed to see at least 8 lakes and each one was different and water fall and surroundings from the highest point to the lowest point it was so nice. Will be returning soon when it is a bit quieter.

Brook Tours Brings the Lake District to Life - A short trip to one venue turned into a four hour private tour of the Lake District, and lucky we were. David’s expertise was on full display: detailed knowledge of the area, historical insights, steady hand behind the wheel, lots of added anecdotes to color the trip, and absolute reliability. You’ve picked a top-notch guide with Brook Tours of Windermere. Thanks, David.
