- 264R+49 English Harbour - Traveler’s will arrive to the distillery to participate in a 1 hr long class to make their very own rum. starting off with a rum tasting of our 6 locally made rums. participants will then proceed to create their very own mixture of flavours and mix in all necessary ingredients to bring home a full size, 750ml bottle with a personalised label. the shared class is for 2 people to use one still create one flavour and take home one bottle between them.

They’ll also have the chance to try their hand at making their own flavours, and learn how create the perfect drink.

Great excusion - This excursion was the highlight of my trip in Antigua. I did this excursion with my family and friends. We had an amazing time. We were impressed. A few of my family member joined us but did not purchase a course. They were impressed and had a good time as well. I would recommend taking this course. The icing on the cake is you get to leave with a bottle of yum. The instructor made it fun.

Amazing experience - Rum Making at it’s BEST! - The experience was fabulous!!! We truly made rum!! Tasting various flavor ingredients and discussing with the presenters possibilities of what we were going to serve “our” rum with. Dessert or even breakfast with maple flavored rum. Spicy rum for the strong flavor! So many ways to show off our products!

Highly recommend! - Would highly recommend! Definitely one of the highlights from our trip. All the guys were super friendly and the experience is really interactive and informative. We will be looking to go again when we are next in the area.

Go for it and enjoy the rum - A real fun experience. Our second time after enjoying it last year. Henry runs it well. There were eight of us and we had 4 stills. You start with tasting 7 commonly used flavours and then get into serious blending of about 20 flavours and tasting whilst the clear distilled rum is collected in front of you.
It is a very alcoholic experience. You will have a lot of laughs but will create a bottle of rum to take home.
Not for the faint- hearted!

Rum making made simple - Great fun, start with rum tasting , a short history of rum and then concoction your own bespoke unique rum to take home.Staff very very friendly and helpful and made the experience better, not as if they were doing it for the hundredth time.

Distill - Must do! Dine - pass. - What a wonderful time we had at the Academy! Nelly was so fun and really personalized the experience for us. A definite must do!
We booked the "Distill and Dine" experience with Loose Cannon restaurant through the Academy's website. To our dismay, the dining experience was misleading. We had called to see what was included in the dining part of the tour. The person on the phone told us "a salad, a burger, a rum punch, and a dessert." Happily, we booked the distill for two people and the dine for two people. We expected two salads, two burgers, two punches, and two desserts, however, we were really upset when we ordered all of the above and got charged with a bill for $170 USD on top of the $210 we already spent on the tour. Apparently, only one of each food was part of the tour...which seems strange for a tour meant for two.
The waiter apologized and the food was good, but overall, we were very disappointed in the poor marketing and miscommunication at the restaurant.
