Transfer from Entebbe Airport to Papyrus Guest House

Entebbe - Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by the company representative your driver or guide who will take you to your hotel in Entebbe where you will spend the night. Depending on your time of arrival you may briefly take an Entebbe city tour or just stay at the hotel and relax where you will spend the night.

Kampala - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - 07:00 am start your drive to the northwest of Uganda Murchison Falls National Park; the journey is through different regions in Uganda’s countryside. The first stopover will be at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking the guided on foot trekking will ably guide you through this expedition presently home to 32 southern white rhinos. This takes about 1-2hours all depends on the location of the rhinos. Visiting the sanctuary will give one a wonderful encounter and brings you a close and safe distance to these rare endangered magnificent animals after you will take a lunch break. In the afternoon take a nature walk to wind up the day at the sanctuary guided through the paths of the sights and sounds of nature with the opportunity of seeing diverse and plentiful wildlife like the Uganda Kob, bushbuck, oribi, warthog, waterbuck, reedbuck, vervet monkey, black and white colobus monkey, and many more interesting animals.

Ziwa to Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park - After your breakfast at Amuka Lodge, we leave and embark on our drive to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s biggest and one of its best parks. The park boasts 76 mammal species including 4 of the big 5 and the world’s largest population of Rothschild’s giraffes as well as over 450 bird species. The park is named after the magnificent Murchison falls which in turn were christened by explorer and naturalist Sir Samuel Baker. Baker named the falls after the geologist Roderick Murchison. Arrive in time for lunch at the hotel after embarking on a 3-4hour game drive looking out for lions, elephants, buffalos, and much more. Also look out for special bird species including the Abyssinian ground hornbills, grey crowned cranes, after returning to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at your reserved hotel.

Game drive & Boat ride

Nile - 06:00 am early breakfast after drive to the northern bank of the River Nile for game viewing. You will come across the Giraffe, Antelope, Elephants, Buffalos, Uganda Kob, sometimes catch the Lion. Take lunch then in the afternoon, you will conduct a 3hour Boat trip on the Nile one of the highlights of the entire tour. The trip takes you to the Bottom of the falls this is the point the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river. On this cruise lookout for hundreds of giant Nile Crocodiles gliding along the surface, Hippos, buffaloes, and elephants quenching their thirst at the river banks, and a variety of water birds like Herons, Ducks, Bee-eaters, Kingfishers, Skimmers, Fish eagles, and sometimes the rare Shoebill. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Return to Kampala

Kampala - This makes it the end of the tour depending on your time of departure our representative from the company will transfer you directly to Entebbe International airport or to a hotel/guesthouse where we have arranged a room day use for those taking late flights

This excursion provides a wilderness adventure in one of Uganda’s premier National parks. Initially, the trip brings you to the Rhino sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. A visit to this sanctuary promises an exciting experience, allowing you to safely observe these rare, endangered majestic creatures. Next, we head to the Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow 7-meter-wide chasm, plummeting with a powerful roar to create a stunning rainbow. The falls offer breathtaking views and are home to a variety of fauna, including hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, and antelopes who inhabit its banks year-round. Delight in wildlife sightings in the park’s northern region and a 3-hour boat tour to the base of the falls.
