Well, my Dad and I just got back to Boston yesterday afternoon after a day with Dave Sharman up in the mountains. Dave was an absolute Godsend. If we had driven through that park on our own, we wouldn't have noticed 1/10th of what Dave stopped and pointed out. Elk...deer...horned sheep...moose. Dave was up at sunrise just to scout the park for our tour and he noticed right off the bat that a moose was heading to a pond near the entrance to the park. We got there and there he was, swimming around and munching on some below-water plants. Just an awesome sight. We saw deer or elk up on the remaining snow near the top of the mountain, streams, etc. Dave grabbed a big handful of snow and I sat there, on July 24th, with a friggin snowball in my hand. As afternoon hit, we got hit with some serious rainfall, that switched to what looked like sleet and a wet snow at 12k feet. Got down to the Colorado River, at 3" deep and maybe 50' wide where people only think of the Grand Canyon and the force of the water to carve the canyon out. I could've just laid down a slept with how peaceful it was. Unbelievable devastation by past wildfires on one section of the tour. Crazy how Ma Nature just does what she thinks she needs to do. In short, and I say this as someone from an area without anything like the Rocky Mountains near me, if you need to tour the park, RMN is who to use - and if you're smart, request Dave Sharman. He was a great companion in the truck and a spectacular guide that not only could find the animals, but gave us a great history lesson in the park and surrounding area. It's a damn shame I can only give Dave 5 stars. If there's a way to double it to 10 that I'm not aware of, please let me know. Thanks.

We had a fabulous day with Mike, and we learned so much about RMNP. Loved that my husband could be a passenger in the car and not concern himself with driving. Very happy that we chose Over the Top Tour, and I’ve already recommended it to friends.
