Completely reccommend Nepal Hiking Team if you're planning Everest Base Camp - Nepal Hiking Team exceeded my expectations for our Everest Base Camp trek. I've done trekking in other countries and they were by far the most organised, professional, and reliable company I've ever dealt with. Our guide, Uttam, is a legend and made the whole trip very special and memorable. Will 100% trek with Nepal Hiking Team again next time we're in Nepal.

Nepal Hiking Team | a solid partner to reach your trekking goal! - I have done the 19 day trek to Everest Basecamp and back through CholaPass, solo, with guide and porter. I found Nepal Hiking Team through the internet and selected them based on their track record, the down-to-earth and factual tone and information on their website and the fact that they work with certified guides. I walked with Prakesh Saploka, a young, yet very experienced guide. As most people I was cautious and conscience about my health and the height. I have been impressed by the subtle ways Prakesh was able to ascert my health and fitness condition, going higher everyday. Taking time when necessary. And I have been grateful for the wealth of information and stories he shared, tirelessly, about the mountains we passed, the customs of the people and religion, and the terrain we were passing. And I have been positively surprised by the decisiveness with which he and another guide from Nepal Hiking Team responded to a seriously deteriorated health condition of one of the trekkers I have met underway. We were one small way away from EBC. Based on their assessment of the safest options still open, they organized heIp to achieve the goal of reaching basecamp on horseback and than organized the medical evacuation flight straight to Katmandu immediatly after that. Thanks to a good extend to the solid guidance I have enjoyed every step of the way. I can genuinly highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team!

Everest Base Camp - I did the Everest basecamp hike with my friend and my 14 year old son. We were aware from the beginning that we are doing it in the beginning of monsoon season and the views of the mountains may or may not happen. The overall experience was wonderful and I was very satisfied with the company. Our porters were Nima and Tanbir who were very polite, friendly and made sure to get our luggage’s in our room even before we arrived. Our guides Paban and Ramesh were extremely knowledgeable and hands on from day 1. They were attentive to how we felt physically and mentally and kept encouraging us when we were tired. Pavan carried my small backpack many days when I struggled to climb. Always made sure we were adequately hydrated. When one of our team members got sick, Paban made an excellent plan B on the fly and made sure he was taken care for but at the same time avoiding delays for the other team members. When one of the teahouses was shut down he immediately found an alternate accommodation. He also was constantly checking the weather to make sure we get good views of the mountain and planned our start time of the hike accordingly.Overall very happy with the experience and would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Nepal Hiking Team, worth every penny! - Excellent experience for me, I highly recommend. Our guide Paban and porters Neema and Tamvir were excellent. Paban was very professional, fun to interact with and had very good attention to detail in terms of daily planning and customizing the daily trekking to our group needs and various walking speeds. I got altitude sickness along the way and Paban was highly attentive to me and had a plan in place for me to get to lower altitude accompanied by their staff safe and timely manner. The whole trip was amazing and really an experience of a lifetime. Besides amazing scenery this was a wonderful educational, cultural and historic experience for me.

Everest Base Camp Trek - The 14-Day Everest Base Camp trek was everything I hoped for even in Monsoon season! Ganga was extremely helpful in the initial stages of the process, advising me on timings and weather situations. In the trek package includes airport pick-up/drop-off & stays in a lovely hotel before and after. My guide Ramesh was so lovely! He was always making me laugh even when our flight to Lukla was cancelled due to weather & when the trek was difficult. Very flexible in making sure the itinerary suits how I was feeling, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. He was very personable, always talking with me during the trek and in the teahouses, which is not what I saw to be the case from other guides/companies. We would play Nepalese card games in the evenings, sing and dance. Also he would turn into a part time photographer aswell, always helping capture the best moments. Nima our porter was always so polite, having a smile on his face at all times - even when carrying so much! Everyday our bags would be in the teahouse rooms ready for when we arrived. He would join us on our acclimatisation days aswell, which made them even more enjoyable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Amazing trip - The best hiking experience I’ve ever been on hands-down! The guides, Paban and Ramesh, and the porters, Tanvir and Nima, did an exceptional job: they were kind, encouraging, honest, and knowledgeable, both about hiking and about Nepal. They treated us like friends or family, making jokes, having fun, talking to us colloquially, and teaching us how to play the local card game Dumble. The trek itself wasn’t too demanding, though the day before and the day we were hiking to EBC were extremely physically and mentally challenging. They offered frequently to carry our day packs if they thought we were struggling, and because of their many years of experience, we seemed to get to places just at the right time to get some views or avoid rain. Because it was off-season, the skies were oft-clouded, but nevertheless we enjoyed it, more so than if it had been peak season. We got multiple days of good views, mostly in the mornings, and still saw Everest. We avoided the big crowds of peak season, and we enjoyed the tea houses to ourselves mostly. The meals and accommodations were satisfactory and many times exceeded expectations. We were given hot drinks 2-3 times a day as well. All in all, every aspect of this trip was amazing, in no small part due to our multi-talented guides, who could double as singers, dancers, actors, chefs, historians, and mountaineers!
