Enjoy - The day tour was planned very well and we enjoyed the town and for the wine tasting the guide went to a castle up in the mountain with the beautiful largest man made lake. Fabulous

Surprising - I confess that I wasn't very excited about this trip, but my wife convinced me to go. The city of Évora surprised me, the experience was really worth it as I had never visited a city with the appearance of Évora. Our guide was also impeccable. Punctual, polite and knew the city very well.

Perfect culture day - I had a great time doing this tour. The driver was very nice and knowledgeable. the wine tasting was delicious. We were delighted with the tastings, views and the way that the staff did everything to feel like at home.

Perfect day trip - An amazing tour! You get to see history, architecture, and taste some wine. A perfect vacation combo in my opinion. Vascal was an amazing tour guide- very knowledgeable and fun to spend a day with!

Eduardo is a great guide - Eduardo has lots of patience when it comes to the wine tasting. I found it a little long. Eduardo knows Evora’s history very well and explained it in a wonderful way. Great guide!

Memorable Day - Loved the city of Evora. Delicious lunch and the wine tasting experience was great! Our your guide Eduardo was amazing! I do need my prescription sunglasses which I left in the back seat- Eduardo called and said he was dropping them by the hotel. Please!

Évora is a must see! - Our guide was very professional. It was evident that he was passionate about his country and he was a very safe driver. Évora was very interesting, particularly the Chapel of Bones. On the way back to Lisbon, we did a little excursion to the megalithic stone formation. They were fascinating!

A Must - Évora is another breathtaking town in Portugal like all the ones we have visited , St Francis Church is one of the most beau we saw in Portugal, the old town Évora is beautiful and wine tasting was very good ( learned a lot about Portuguese wines ) Eduardo was nice but sometimes too savvy ! All in all I recommend this tour , the company was difficult for them to reply !

Fun, maybe a bit overpriced for the season - The driver was great! He was polite and was very excited 😁 to take us. The winery really had some beautiful wines to taste. Lunch was ok and the winery wasn't in full function since it wasn't the season for bottling or a blooming vineyard. With that said, I'd still probably book again... Just in a warmer season

Attraction was great, tour non-existent - We booked a private tour for a full day to Evora with a guide, lunch and ending with a castle tour prior to the wine tasting. What we received for $338 was a ride by our “guide” John who told us, unfortunately, the selected restaurant was closed (it was a national Holiday) so we’d have to choose another and pay for it ourselves, calling Viator/BeDriven for a lunch refund, since he knew it was included. We were also told by John that he would be dropping us off and picking us up at the designated meeting place three hours later and then we would proceed to our wine tasting. We intended to enjoy our day so shifted quickly to the fact we would be our own tour guides and would take it up with Viator/BeDriven when we returned to Lisbon. John was cordial, a good driver but obviously didn’t understand we had paid for more than a driver. John did tell us he wasn’t involved with any charges for the trip so any issues with money would need to be addressed with Viator/BeDriven. FYI, our wine tasting was great and on par with our expectations as well as past wine tastings. What we didn’t receive: a guided tour of Evora, an included “acclaimed” Portuguese lunch, and a tour of castle Arraiolos. (See description below) When we returned to Lisbon we contacted Viator who offered a $30 refund for our “acclaimed” lunch. Nothing for the misrepresentation of the tour as a whole. There was no way in good conscience we could let this go. After another call and several emails back and forth, we agreed to a 50% refund, which is probably what the entire tour in full would have been worth! We did pay a premium to go on a Sunday (an extra $100) which I wouldn’t do again. We travel internationally often for business and pleasure and are not typically “tour” people so we learned a great deal through this. While in Lisbon we did three tours and were most happen with the first one, which was a walking food and wine tour with a local and not through BeDriven. Would definitely NOT recommend using BeDriven as they obviously do not deliver on what is described in its entirety.
