A great experience in Evora - Sandra has a very unique perspective the we have found quite relatable and it was certainly pertinent to the history of Evora. This is what we were looking for, a personal view of the complex history of Evora, and not simply listing the key facts and dates. Also, many thanks to Sandra for the great tips, we followed your advice and visited the Monsaraz castle, which was fantastic.

Not What We Signed Up For - Our guide was knowledgeable, and was friendly and engaging throughout the tour. Much of the tour, however, involved listening to her extended monologues on personal and religious philosophy. We did not sign up for such a presentation. While she did provide some historical facts on occasion during the almost three hour tour, she did not concentrate on historical facts like she should have. The history of Evora is extraordinary. The tour should have involved that exclusively. This tour did not.
