The best experience in Vietnam - This cooking class is definitely worth it.If you’re trying to take this class,Don’t hesitate it. Now I have more experience and knowledge about vietnamese food after I took this class. And the cooking teacher,Tien She was so enthusiasm person about teaching. If I had another chance to take this class,I’ll go for it. The only thing you need to be careful about is taking the class on a hot day

A great day tour - We had an amazing time. Great tour guide and had fun in visting the tunnels and learning about the vietnam war. Seeing also the book store post office and the day market.

An Amazing Experience! - My husband and I did the cooking class together. I would encourage anyone who’d like to learn viet nam recipes to attend. We cooked and tasted delicious recipes with a personal chef. She encouraged and assisted when needed the whole time. It was fantastic!

Amazing Learning Experience Especially for Farm to Table Culinary Journey - I thoroughly enjoyed this course as I was most interested in the farm to table concept so I can grow my own herbs, vegetables and fruits and cook and eat healthier. My instructor Alice was fun to learn from and simplified the concepts of Vietnamese cooking . Also had the honour to meet owner/Chef Tan so hopefully I can return and enrol in more specialized Vietnamese cuisine and impress my friends even more. Looking forward to returning home to Canada and applying my newly acquired Vietnamese culinary skills!

Ticking two boxes in one trip, well worth it. - We were picked up at 7.30am by Alice, our guide and chef, with a driver. The trip took about an hour and a half, out into the country so we got to see some of the surroundings as well. When we got to the organic farm we went outside to learn about some of the plants that we were going to be cooking with. Headed back inside for local snacks before starting the cooking lessons. The lunch consisted of a four course meal which was tasty and even better-we had made it, guided by Alice, who was very helpful and patient with us. After lunch-we drove 15 minutes to the Cu Chi tunnels for a guided and informative walk through the complex.

Best cooking class! - My friend and I did an afternoon cooking class and it was amazing, we were the only 2 doing the class at that time so it was basically a private experience. The main reason we picked her is because of the halal option for me and they had their certificate on display. Our guide/chef was Alice. She was amazing and made the experience so great she explained stuff in detail, told us about the local history. It was hard to narrow the options but we both went for pho and it was very authentic, it shocked us how nice it was, this is thanks to Alice’s guidance. We would strongly recommend booking this as part of your experience they pick you up from the hotel and drop you off which is an added bonus! Alice also took the best pictures of us!

A great and educational experience - I chose this cooking class for the visit to the farm and for the organic farming that Chef Tan offers. We were received and accompanied by Alice, our chef for the day, who took particular care to explain to us precisely the cultivation methods and the specificities of each plant on the farm. She then guided us patiently and educationally for a cooking class in the heart of Chef Tan's farm. We were able to taste cashew nuts prepared and packaged on the farm, local products other than vegetables. We left with our taste buds and pupils delighted and satisfied!

Wonderful Farming and Cooking Experience - Chef Tan’s organic farm and Vietnamese cooking class was a truly delightful experience. Ara taught us an impressive amount on farming and picking our produce and guided expertly to picking the freshest of ingredients for our meal and then afterwards we were given the most entertaining cooking class on Vietnamese cuisine by Chef Tan! Chef is an experienced, charismatic and friendly man who made us feel right at home in his establishment and his simple methods and catchphrases will stay drilled into your memory, giving you a solid basis for cooking up your favourite Vietnamese dishes whenever you feel like it. A wonderful and educational farm to table cooking experience and of course the food we created was absolutely gorgeous.

This chef is a philosopher - - An experience that is anything but ordinary!!! Despite many cooking courses - including those given by Michelin-starred chefs - I have never experienced meeting a chef who puts the philosophy of cooking into perspective from a health perspective. The simplicity of the ingredient lists for exciting dishes opens up a whole new way of preparing Vietnamese and Asian dishes. Practical cooking (life) help that is bound to lead to success if you listen carefully. There are also recipes, but these are aids to the ingredient list. Cooking is intuition - success is umami. Thank you, Chef Tan.
