• Wadi El-Rayan - A representative will pick you up from your Cairo hotel to explore the famous sites of El Fayoum, located about 95 km from Cairo. Today’s itinerary includes visits to Wadi El Ryan, which has been a Protected Area since 1989.
• Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan) - The tour begins with a visit to the Wadi Hitan Protected Area, also known as the Valley of the Whales, situated approximately 90 km from Fayoum. This site, part of the Wadi El Rayan Protected Area, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the discovery of 40-million-year-old whale skeletons.
• Faiyum Oasis - En route to the Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, you’ll visit Mudawara Mountain before continuing to the waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression in the western desert, 42 meters below sea level, featuring two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, created in 1970 from farm drainage overflow. Enjoy sandboarding in Fayoum, followed by a late lunch at a quality restaurant. Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to Cairo.
