• Wadi El-Rayan - Our company representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to explore the famous sites of El Fayoum. The distance from Cairo to Fayoum is approximately 95 km. Today’s itinerary includes visits to Wadi El Ryan, which was designated a Protected Area in 1989. We will begin our tour at Wadi Hitan Protected Area (Valley of the Whales), located about 90 km from Fayoum. Wadi Hitan, or Valley of the Whales, is situated within the Protected Area of Wadi El Rayan and was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the discovery of 40-million-year-old whale skeletons. En route to Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, we will stop at Mudawara Mountain. Then, we will proceed to Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression in the western desert, situated 42 meters below sea level. It comprises two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, which were formed in 1970 by the overflow of drainage water from Fayoum’s farmlands.
• Qasr Qarun and Medinet Quta - Next, we will visit Medinet Madi (Ancient City Uncovered), which dates back to the third pharaonic dynasty and was built by Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV. A late lunch will be served at a high-quality restaurant. Afterward, we will transfer back to Cairo.

For pick-up/drop-off from Cairo airport, Sphinx airport, New Administrative Capital, New Cairo, Heliopolis, Badr City, Shorouk, Rehab, Obour, Sheraton Almatar, Sheikh Zayed City, or Madinaty City, an additional cost will apply.
