Additional Information

Your journey will commence with your Tour Guide collecting you from your Cairo hotel and transporting you, via a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, to El Fayoum, some 100 km away. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to pause by the serene lake of Qaroun.

Immerse yourself in the peaceful rural life alongside the lake, observing the diverse birdlife that has migrated here and the surrounding farmland. Subsequently, we’ll guide you to the stunning Wadi El Rayan Waterfall, nestled in the heart of the desert, followed by a visit to Wadi Hitan, also known as the Valley of the Whales. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has earned its name from the 40-million-year-old whale remains discovered there.

We’ll then proceed to Medinet Madi, an Ancient City Uncovered, originating from the third pharaonic dynasty, erected by Amenemhet III. After your journey through time and nature, our Tour Guide will navigate the return journey to your hotel in Cairo.
