Outstanding Cooking experience. - We thoroughly enjoyed this experience which was teamed with a visit to the very unique and special Cu Chi tunnels with Alice, who is an extremely knowledgable Chef, and tour guide. We first picked the ingredients for our class from the Organic garden, then a very detailed and hands on cooking class, the food was amazing, the stories incredible, and touring the garden and Mushroom cave, so interesting. The visit to the tunnel was very thought provoking and well set up with excellent displays of a very difficult time in Vietnams history. Again, Alice was extremely knowledgable, in the history. Alice and the helpers, and Chef Tan, were all friendly, hospitable, and although we have done other classes, this was the best by far. Thank you Chef Tan, Alice and the team, for a most wonderful experience in your beautiful Country. Plenty fo our photos on the School Cooking Facebook page.

Tasty, special, and entertaining - Our class was with Alice who was very friendly, energetic and knowledgeable when we asked questions not just about the food, but about Vietnam in general. Everything we made tasted delicious. I look forward to making the dishes again as we were given the recipes.

It’s a great and surprising experience. We did it as a family and have no regrets. We were able to recharge our batteries. - We visited the organic farm followed by a culinary class with our super chef Alice. Who took the time to explain to us how the farm works, we visited and then cooked the food taken from the farm. It’s an experience to do! I recommend Elise, Jérôme, Ivann

Highly recommended! - My girlfriend and I booked the cooking class together with the trip to the chu-chi-tunnels. We had a wonderful, funny and helpful guide (Thank you Ms. Aura!) who picked us up in the morning from the hotel. We then drove to the cooking school where a young cook first showed us the beautiful gardens, where we picked all the ingredients and herbs/vegetables for the later cooking. Even this part of the day already was very interesting and really funny. We learned a lot. Then we had the wonderful cooking class. We even could tell the Crew some dishes, we wanted to cook, on the day before and they arranged it for us. The dishes were great and the cooking was a lot of fun. Even chef Tan himself came to our table and we could chat a little with him. Then we drove to the chu-chi-tunnels where Aura showed us arround and explained everything (in perfect english!) which was also a great and very interesting experience. All in all we had a wonderful day thanks to the whole team and would highly recommend doing this activity when in HCMC!

Perfect cooking tour - We enjoyed the cooking tour very much!Our tour guide Alice was very helpful. The food was very nice . We learned a lot of things during our time. From ingredients to cook all by ourselves.

Cuisine other than schnitzel and Kaiserschmarren .... - Thank you for the lovely morning! It was extremely exciting to harvest the many vegetables and herbs - many of which were unknown to us until then. Cooking together - especially the motivation from Alice!!!! - was very nice and entertaining. I can only recommend it if you want to do more than just visit sights on holiday.

HCM Cooking Class - This experience was truly amazing starting with Anh showing my husband and I through the organic farm and explaining each herb, its medicinal use as well as what it is used for in Vietnamese cooking and having us pick and harvest the vegetables and herbs for our cooking class. Next was Alice, wow what a lovely Vietnamese young lady !!! Perfect English and so informative with a great sense of humour . Alice knows her recipes and was exceptional in taking us through step by step what we needed to do to cook an outstanding 3 course meal that was delicious!!!!! We also purchased a recipe book available on site and received a certificate for completing the cooking challenge. I would thoroughly recommend this experience, a must do if you are visiting Ho Chi Minh

Fantastic! - Amazing day out! Chef Tan has cultivated a beautiful food garden, from which you will pick your produce and cook 4 excellent meals with. Our guide was Chef Linh, who was extremely knowledge about all aspects of the garden farm and cooking, and had a very amiable character, he was a perfect guide. Especially if you are interested in agroforestry / regenerative agriculture, the tour of the farm is very interesting, and you can ask lots of questions. The group is small and manageable, so you will feel personally attended to. Cannot recommend enough, a great experience!
