- Arco Da Vila - Arco da Vila is the main entrance to the old city of Faro.
It is considered a unique example of Arab architecture in Portugal.
- Turm Faro Cathedral - The interior of the Cathedral of Faro contains one of the most valuable artistic collections from the 17th and 18th centuries in the Algarve.
In Largo da Sé, two other notable buildings deserve attention: the Paço Episcopal and the Seminário Episcopal de S. José.
- Former Beer Factory - The Former Beer Factory is located in “Vila-Adentro”, next to the old walls.
Its construction took place between 1930 and 1940. It’s, probably, a good time to drink a fresh beer.
- Old Town Faro - In this part of the town, we will appreciate the architecture and have some more tastings, including some delicious Portuguese wine.
- Paço Episcopal de Faro - The Episcopal Palace of Faro is located in Largo da Sé, in the historic centre of Faro. It was built to serve as the official residence of the Bishop of the Algarve.
- Marina de Faro - This is where we will finish the tour, after having tasting the local gastronomy and drinks.

The meeting point in Faro is near the Arco da Vila, the entrance to the Old Town. I will be there to welcome you. Please be at your meeting point 5 minutes before the scheduled time. If you are driving, you can park near the old wall.

Wonderful afternoon, highly recommended! - Jorge is a nice man with a lot of enthusiasm. He takes his time and shows you all the beautiful places. The places where we had something to eat were well chosen. We had a wonderful afternoon.

Great tour filled with food, wine, beer and the local history of Faro. - Great tour of Faro with Jorge. He was very knowledgeable of Faro’s history and we visited some excellent restaurants trying the local cuisine including local beers and wines. Would recommend if visiting Faro!

Recommended! - For me personally an absolute highlight on our Algarve trip!
Our guide showed us some very beautiful spots in Faro and gave us a little insight into the history of the city!
The food we selected was really delicious and also gave us a little insight into the food culture!
If you want to experience something culinary, I can only recommend this tour!

Delicious food - highly recommended tour in Faro - To be honest, we didn't have a high expectation regarding the tour and the city. But the tour was great, the guide is a very nice person with a great sense of humour, but also very knowledgeable about the city history. And, finally, the food: it was superb! Delicious local food and terrific wine to match. Highly recommended.

Disappointing - Tour guide canceled due to illness about 2.5 hrs before start of tour. Be aware this can happen, in this instance it left me with no alternative options as I am unable to reschedule as offered (for three days later), or schedule another tour in Faro. Very much changed my Faro experience
