An Enjoyable Experience - It was an amazing experience. The crew was very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out a mixture of history of the area and other areas as well and the beautiful beaches. Lunch in Santa Luzia at the Octopus Restaurant was delicious. The whole experience was amazing and the service was premier. I highly recommend Passeios Ria Formosa boat tours.

Flamingo trip - Very enjoyable and informative trip with Philip. Comfortable boat and friendly and knowledgable skipper. Convenient pick up in Tavira.

Great local knowledge - We took the one hour trip from Cabanas to Tavira. The skipper (Phillipe) was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He explained the history and gave lots of local interesting information about the area and the fishing industry. Highly reccommended.

Good Fun - We booked this boat tour not really knowing what to expect. When we arrived a very friendly staff member brought us down to the boat. However upon arriving at the boat we had to climb over the side to get in. As I have arthritis and use a stick I found this impossible. I thought I was going to have to miss the trip and just let my other family members go, but the Captain was able to provide a step for me and I was in the boat and we were off!! The water was so calm (except when a speed boat went past), the views were amazing and our Captain was very friendly and helpful. Well worth it and definitely recommend it.

Relaxed and informative tour - Friendly, informative and relaxed tour. The guide went out of his way to help with our drop off and find information for us.

Bad experience - Not seen a dolphin, when the Skyper wasn't even looking for them. Didn't say a word all excursion, just at the end, bad day, goodbye

Cancelled by them on the day of the trip - We booked and paid in cash on Sunday, to take this trip at 3pm on Wednesday, the last day of our holiday. At 9.30am on Wednesday we received a call to tell us the trip was cancelled and we would have to go and collect our refund. We were offered the next day, but we are leaving the next day. Next year we will be back and we will book with a different company.

Don’t bother - This is what is supposed to happen: Your skipper points out any points of interest and provides context for every sight. In reality: The only thing the skipper said was ‘flamingos’ no other information or anything about different sights along the way. It’s a shame as could have been a different experience had we got what we paid for! I got the impression that the boat operator couldn’t be bothered Waste of money

CIGARETTE BUTTON FOR RIA FORMOSA - Trip from Santa Luzia to Terra Estreita, 12/08, everything went well with the trip, and the whole experience was being quite good, until the boat driver's assistant sat smoking on the bow of the boat and threw smoke at on the customers, the WORST WAS WHEN AT THE END OF THE CIGARETTE HE THROWS THE CIGARETTE INTO THE RIA, after being confronted he says that there are ashtrays on the dock but is he the one pouring it? A STAIN AND A BAD NAME FOR THE COMPANY.

Avoid - If you read my reviews you will see that I hardly ever give bad reviews. This so called boat tour is one of my wife's and my most disappointing holiday experiences . It was not interesting as claimed in the advert. There was hardly any information given, basically none of the things claimed in the advert were true. We left the boat half way through basically through boredom. Indeed we had earlier in the week had a Ferry Journey to the beech that was just as interesting but cost 2.5 Euro return.
