NEW EXCURSION
Consider the pitfalls of booking your Bosphorus Cruise Tour through a secondary agency: you squander half of your day (from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, including hotel transfers), and yet only earn an hour and a half on the actual Bosphorus Cruise Tour, potentially with an add-on trip to the Egyptian Bazaar. However, the brief group visit to the bazaar is insufficient for appreciating it fully. Instead, join us for your Bosphorus excursion to discover the key attractions of Istanbul. Glide between two continents on a Bosphorus Strait cruise, marvel at the treasures of the Golden Horn, the Roman ruins by bus, visit the Eyup Sultan Mosque and take in the striking view of the Golden Horn from Pierre Loti Hill while enjoying a cable car ride.

MEET-UP POINT FOR CRUISE TRAVELLERS
Directly outside the PORT BOSPHORUS HOTEL, opposite the main exit for cruise passengers.

• Experience the exhilaration of sailing between Asia and Europe on a Bosphorus cruise
• From the water, marvel at landmarks such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophi
• Explore notable sites on the Golden Horn including historical houses and Roman ruins

Amazing - Tours were excellent. Good mix of knowledge and free time given at each sight. Much of the history can be seen along the Bosporus along with different sights in Istanbul.

Istanbul made easy with a personal guide. - My daughter suggested I meet her in Istanbul for 5 nights. With so many wonderful sights to see in a short time we decided to have a personal guide. Such a good decision. Selcuk Sebilicoglu met us at our hotel and took us to the main attractions of the old city. He gave us plenty of information about the history, the politics and the architecture. Guided us through queues very quickly, helped my daughter buy a real leather coat, took us to a back street speciality rug maker, showed us where to buy genuine Turkish delight. No fakes in sight. It was a wonderful reintroduction into this beautiful city and we were set up so well to then explore on our own. Thoroughly would recommend engaging this guide. Email: guideselcuk@gmail.com

Old Istanbul - Charming city, if we like History and Literature, especially the eastern part of the Bosphorus. The Portuguese are very welcome. It's a good idea to know a little Turkish (Arabic) and French. English is less spoken. The street food is phenomenal.

Full day Istanbul tour - great overview - We joined a full day tour of Istanbul in March 2023 and left educated about this wonderful city. Our guide was knowledgeable but it was challenging to hear city details particularly on board the noisy ferry, which was part of the tour. Communication prior to the tour, pick-up/drop-off was reliable; a trustworthy company.

Waste of time tour - don't bother - This tour is basically a boat tour with a photo opportunity from a hill side cafe. We were picked up and put into a roasting hot minibus, the air conditioning was not working properly and the vehicle had to be stopped to cool down the engine. We were taken to too many stops for no apparent reason and then ended up at a Baklava and tea shop for the obvious sales stop. Waste of time mucking around and then the boat ride, which was fine, but I could easily have booked a straight boat ride and not been mucked around for the other 2.5 hours of my 37 degree day!! Ridiculous and nearly $100 AUD for a photo op I could have got from a local ferry ride.

Just not worth the money. Look for a different tour. - The guide was obviously distracted by other things because he rarely would say a word about what we were lookkng at. By the end he decided to step up to the plate and say a few things about Istanbuls magnificent history but that was obviously only because tip time was approaching. It was bad enough not one person on the entire tour gave him a tip. Unless you include the money pass off from the man at the sweets store. Which was very pushy and over priced. Delicious thou.

Avoid Alzazeera tour - Try to avoid this tour guide if you have children. He is too busy.. Also the cable car trip was too short ++ just running around the city. tour guide was running kn the street but giving ample time when it comes to his sponsored cafeteria or baklava shop. he is like a salesman!!

Avoid at all cost - Felt like a total scam. Unintrested guide that barely spoke ans spent his time on his phone while asking to go explore on our own. We did not do half of the activities described and his had the audacity to stop us at random shops for 20mins TWICE !
