Fantastic, Friendly & knowledgeable guide - Our guide Mert (Ismail Mert) was fantastic, very welcoming, friendly, made us laugh and smile, but most importantly he was extremely knowledgeable. He made the tour very enjoyable, comfortable. He was very easy to listen to and explained the history in a way you can understand and imagine. His level of historical knowledge is extensive. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour! - Great tour! It is exactly what it is described. We loved the punctuality and the fact that it ended in the Topkapi Palace where we could continue our tour at our own pace. Initially, we were going to do the tour by ourselves, but it was much easier with his guidance. Five stars to our tour guide, Ismael Mert, who was very knowledgeable of the places visited. Besides he had a good sense of humor and he was very polite.

Learnt and seen a lot more than if we had done it ourselves. - Well-paced tour, with a great guide, few queues, and ends in the grounds of Topkapi palace so can spend the rest of the day exploring the attractions inside. All tickets included, approx €82 value worth each apparently. The guide leads around and gives information and then you have 20-25 minutes to explore. Rest and toilet stop planned into it. Learnt and seen a lot more than if we had done it ourselves. Disappointed with Hagla Sophia, go to the BLue Mosque (free) instead if possible.

Best tour guide company in IST - completed two tours with this company and I could not recommend them more. The amount of crappy tours available in istanbul can be overwhelming. I definitely did not want to get stuck in a 50 person Get your guide tour that lasted 20 minutes! The way that walks in europe have organized themselves is great - and the tour guides seem to really enjoy working for this company which is always a good sign! Organizing a tour to see hagia sophia/topkapi/cistern can be very confusing online. This company is a little pricier than others but it is 100% worth it. The meeting point is convieniently early and started at 9am (better than other tours). Our tickets for Hagia sophia had already been purchased and the que was therefore minimal (20 mins max). From my understanding topkapi is normally done last so you would have lots of free time to explore yourself. However because of a Mr. President we had to complete this first (and missed out on the Harem section). Not the guides fault in anyway just bad luck! Then we completed the cistern which is very cool and worth going to (I originally was going to skip this). Mert, our tour guide, did a fantastic job throughout the day. Not only did he have all the facts, he was clearly INTERESTED in what he was doing. He was super friendly, funny and talked as if he was talking to a group of friends. Mert was with us a full 4 hours and spoke in detail at every place providing free time as we needed it. It was a SMALL tour which is really so much better than the huge 60 ppl groups. 100% recommend this tour. I also completed a tour in Dolmbache palace. I hadn't expected to learn so much here but I absolutely did! And luckily we saw the Harem section here which (apparently) is better than topkapi palace. Murat was our tour guide for this - he was GREAT. One of the better tour guides I've had over all of Europe. Great tips for where to go after Dolmabahce also. Overall I could not recommend this company and it's walks in istanbul enough.

Excellent Tour of Istanbul - What a great way to tour the highlights of Istanbul. We booked a private tour that included Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterns, and Topkapi Palace. Our lovely guide spoke excellent English and knew so much of the history of these monuments. Our tour met at 9 a.m., which enabled us to see the sights ahead of the crowds. Even the weather cooperated - it was sunny and cool. March is a great time to visit as it gets very hot in summer. We highly recommend Walks in Europe (Istanbul).. Booking, paying, and meeting were so easy and our guide terrific. Money and time we'll spent.

Great Guide - Exceptionally detailed knowledge and friendly guide in Guzim. Asked questions to custom tailor comments and insights. Included tour of the Harem, which was the best part other than the 4th courtyard. Recommend highly!

Good opportunity to visit these 3 attractions - Good punctuality with a 10-minute tolerance. Well-guided visit with enough time to appreciate the 3 sites. As it was in English with an accent, I had a little difficulty understanding some of the explanations.
