Great experience - My one criticism was that it took over 2 hours before the ship left the dock. It was a big and diverse tour group. The boat trip is very relaxing. The islands are pretty to wander around, but there is really not much to do there. The lunch on board ship was good. This is a good tour to fill up a day after you have seen everything else.

Island hopping - Just the right length of time to visit each of the islands. Great service from collection at the hotel to the finish, with lunch laid on in between. Lots of wonderful sights to see capped off by dolphins on the way home.

A fun time brought down with side hustling - While I would give the actual time out 4/5, I don't appreciate stopping at a leather shop after a hot day in the sun or trying to be sold perfume and purses. If you like dancing, the boat is a fun time. The food is okay but you do have to pay for any drinks. You do get 2 hours on Buyukada, which is enough time to shop.

There is room for improvement in the organisation - Were traveling as a group with 5 people. Unfortunately, hotel pickup did not work. Taxi was expensive and drove us to the wrong port. After a long wait and walking around 30 minutes after the departure time the bus finally found us and brought us on board. Without a guide we went to the islands we explored independently. Food on board was quite good. Mood on board was very good. In the end everyone was taken back to the hotel by bus, except us. 😞

Not as described - My friend and I decided to spend some time outside of Istanbul, and this looked like a good idea. Unfortunately, we didn't have a very good time. We spent so much time just waiting! 25 minutes waiting for the driver, more than one hour to wait on the boat, in the heat, for other people to arrive before we could start the cruise (we left with over an hour delay), then again 20 minutes delay to leave the second island… On the islands, we didn’t get a tour guide to take us to visit important places unless we wanted to pay extra, which was supposed to be included in our package, as stated in the description of our reservation. As for the English-speaking staff, we didn't meet them. The staff that was on board was more concerned about selling hats, glasses, keychains, etc. than giving us any information. Oh, and playing very loud music! The toilets on the boat were very, very dirty. I communicated all this to the tour operator, Mete, when they messaged us after the cruise (5 days ago) to see if we were happy but I have yet to hear back from them. Overall, we would not recommend it.

Unsafe and very strange experience! - Hello I am very disappointed with this experience. We booked for the family trusting TripAdvisor However, the journey started very badly. The pickup was very late. The driver was angry and stressed to pick up other people on the road. Second surprise when we arrived to the boat. The area was a fishing and dirty area. The boat was very crowded, noisy with no safety measures. When we asked that we were not comfortable and about the safety on board, the staff were not happy and asked us to leave. We were even threatened when we started to take photos of this unsafe boat. We are not recommending to take this trip.

Not a good experience - avoid - We had booked this trip, including hotel transfer. The organisation of the hotel transfer was awful. We did not receive any details and I had to chase the organiser to try and find out what time they would be picking us up. We were told 8am. They finally turned up at 9:30am - one and a half hours late and only after many chasing phone calls. So, the day did not start well. The boat was very basic. We were herded on along with a few hundred others. It seemed very overcrowded and it was very uncomfortable. Not what we had imagined for a whole day trip. The sea-journey was nice but the Island-visits were a complete waste of time. There was nothing to do or to see except for eating at over-priced restaurants, along with all the other hundreds of passengers coming off other boats. We were supposed to have a guide to take us around, but there was no sign of him. All in all, it was a very poor experience and I would not recommend it. The low point of our Istanbul trip.

They appear to forget clients - We were never picked up as our hotel by texting. We had agreed with time and location with Mete, who ended up answering hours late on WhatsApp. The driver never answered the phone either...
