Fes Merzouga Marrakesh adventure - The 3 day trip covered quite a bit. Sahara desert camel ride at Merzouga was the highlight. Weathering mini sandstorms, monkeys, Atlas film studio at Ourzazate, kasbah at Ait Ben Hadou, Todra canyon, geodes and fossils from the high Atlas mountains rounded up the experience. Will attempt a longer desert stay next time. Definitely a next time.

Amazing sahara desert experience with Tarboosh - The entire trip was amazing and handled very well. Abdel was following up everyday making sure our trip was going alright. We spoke to many other travel agencies before we finalized with Tarboosh travels. We are definitely going to recommend it to all our friends who will be traveling to Morocco.

A Desert Adventure - This is a wonderful agency to work with for booking one of these tours, they offer the best price I’ve seen and are very kind. We booked the 4 day tour and there were ups and downs, but overall we got what we wanted which was the desert experience. I would say it’s important to have realistic expectations, 1. You are doing the tour with a bunch of other people with different itineraries, 2. You are going on a very long journey to and from the middle of the desert, drives are long and the food is average/ limited yet expensive. Be aware no matter who you book with you will basically be getting the same thing. We were grouped with people who booked through other agencies and getyourguide for example, but we paid much less per day through Tarboosh Travel! Advice I give to future travellers is buy bottled water before embarking, it is not provided at the camp and there you will pay double to buy it. Additionally bring medicine in case you or others get sick, they have none and will not be very helpful. One poor guy’s stomach was sick for 2 days until we could get to a city with a pharmacy. The camel trip on day 1 was amazing, by far the highlight! The glamping is fun, just prepare for the cold. We loved stargazing and the atmosphere. However in the following days everything listed on the itinerary we did not get to do. The camp in Merzouga does not have a swimming pool, this should just be removed from the day 2 description. On day 3 we went to the Gorges even though we didn’t add it on because our group-mates had it in their tour… it was okay to see but wasted time for us and not worth it IMO. It meant we actually didn’t get ANY free time in Ouarzazate because we were late. So we didn’t get to visit Taourirt Kasbah or see that city much at all… the next morning on day 4 we stopped only to see the Kasbah from the outside and take a picture before heading out. There was also a quality problem with the hotel in Ouarzazate, we actually wound up switching because others complained… but neither hotel matched the description. Driver said he got us an upgrade which we appreciated… but who knows if that’s really true. We skipped the cinema studios (it was closed)! and again just saw it on the outside on day 4. The visit to Ait ben Haddou Kasbah was very beautiful and interesting, I was happy we got to have a tour of this historic site. Through the atlas mountains we did stop at a rest stop for a bathroom break, but it wasn’t a pretty panoramic view…just a roadside cafe wedged between the mountains, not what I was expecting. Kareem, our driver, was very nice for the most part, but there were moments that were confusing and uncomfortable. If you have someone in your group that speaks French it really helps to reduce the misunderstandings. He accommodated the requests of the group and did his best to ensure we had a good time, so we were very grateful! Unfortunately, at the very end he got upset that we were staying in different locations and there was no drop off plan that made sense… so it was REALLY stressful for everyone because he was so emotional and didn’t just pull over to plan it out. It’s too bad it ended on a sour note when we thought we were all getting along… Then he got mad some people didn’t tip. This I genuinely empathize with, so I probably wound up overtipping to compensate… he also claimed some group members never paid him back for money he loaned, I honestly don’t know if that’s true or if I was being hustled. But regardless, to future GUESTS: you NEED to tip when a guy has personally driven you around for 2 days straight and handled your every grievance, it’s not ok not to. I realize some people don’t come from a country with tipping culture, so please accept that tipping is necessary here. Think about the numbers, these drivers can’t be making much, you should factor a tip in when you budget for this trip. Overall this tour met our expectations because we went in knowing not everything would be perfect or go to plan on such an excursion. The desert is stunningly beautiful and that alone made it worth it. We also felt the package price was great value. If I were to do it again I would book using Tarboosh Travel, but (if I could afford to) a private tour so we would have more control over the itinerary and schedule. Thanks for everything Tarboosh Travel!

HONEST business - best service. - Best tour agency I have used in all of my travels. They have been around for decades. Don't be fooled by the hundreds of new travel agents in Morocco that have popped up since the pandemic. Some of them are scammers and I had to call the police on another tour agency for harassment. Tarboosh is legit. Tarboosh arranged two trips for me (Chefchuan and 3 day desert tour) during my time in Fez Morocco. The manager communicated with me throughout the booking process, picked us up from the hotel, arranged for breakfast during early morning trips, checked up on us during the trip and after to make sure we were satisfied. After meeting the manager Abdul on our first tour, we cancelled with another agency for our second tour (the other agency barely responded on time to us and demanded money from us for services not provided). We rebooked our second major tour with tarboosh (with discount for booking directly) and it was the best decision. He went above and beyond with his service and even helped us with issues outside of the tour. We had a run in with TWO major scammers (hundreds of US dollars at risk) during our stay in Morocco and Abdul helped guide us through both situations even though they were not his problem. After our tours, he continued to provide us guidance on Morocco through Whatsapp. Be aware, if you go with another tour agency, they may book you on a third party tour that may change your intinerary or downgrade the services promised to scam $$$ out of you. That happened to other travelers we met. Stay in contact with your booking agent and they can fix any "mix-ups" that happen during your tour. Abdul always responded within minutes of any WhatsApp message.

Great experience! - It was a great experience. I had so much fun. The driver was very good fun and helpful. There is almost no place left that we haven't seen, you cannot easily find this much service and entertainment at this price anywhere. I also made lots of new friends. Simply magnificent

Amazing and magnificent trip to visit my lovely Morocco - Excellent service from the beginning of the tour to the end, a 3 days and 2 nights tour at a more than affordable and pleasant price. Abdeljalil served us and organized the trip and also picked us up from our house to accommodate us, he also kept in touch daily to ensure that everything went according to the plan. Our driver Driss and our guide Omar are very professional and helpful, we felt like family with their support. The transport was very comfortable and pleasant and I will organize my next trip to discover our Morocco with Tarboosh Travel. Many thanks for your professionalism, my family greatly appreciated♥️♥️♥️

Best travel agency! Great price and service! - I highly recommend you book with this. travel agency! The best experience I've had. The trip went flawlessly. I did his #5 package which is a three days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech. They gave me the best price of €185. I met people who paid €285 for the exact same trip!!!! 😥 He is a good man and brought me breakfast. The drivers we had drove safe and spoke many languages including French, Italian and English. They stopped at many stops giving us breaks and seeing the sites. The tent he provided was comfortable with a good mattress. The hotel room exceeded my expectations with a pool and comfortable room. The camel ride was fun!

Would recommend, still few issues they need to solve ! - This agency had such good ratings that I was hoping they would not do the same lunch stops at tourist trap places, but they did, 2 out of 3 were overpriced, not very good and low rated (2.9 and 2.8), only 1 stop the food was okay ish (still expensive). Always in the middle of nowhere so you can't walk to a different one. On our last day none of us wanted to eat there so we told our driver, and he drove us someplace else, where the food was actually very good. Please do better when it comes to this, like the meals provided were not the best, and cheap to buy on their own, but for the lunch stops that were not included we go to overpriced places !? Probably little control over this one, maybe pick a better organized desert camp, but when we arrived at the camp in the Sahara desert, I was told I'd be given a shared tent, after I had specifically discussed and paid more to have a private one. I called the agency on whatsapp and luckily they picked up and talked to the guy in charge and the issue was resolved, however, I was moved to some other area a 5 min ride form the main camp, where the tents were not as nice and neither was the surrounding design. I also had to go back earlier because my tent was not there so I could not just go grab a hoodie or jacket for the weather that had gotten colder. It felt like couples had priority and were given all the nice tents, and with the private tent drama there was what felt like a lot of time lost, since we were not long in the desert. Also a little rushed, like we got there and did not even have the chance to change clothes before going on the camel ride to watch the sunset. Worth mentioning that it did seem they were going out of their way to make sure everything is okay (e.g. to resolve the tent issue). Tip, Rose Valley is not really worth it outside of the blooming season, there is nothing really to see. I'd probably still recommend them, but for a slightly lower price then what i paid (185 euros). I'll keep the score to 4 so they hopefully fix the lunch issue.

Didn’t quite live up to the itinerary that was sold to us - Sold to us as a wonderful experience but unfortunately experienced a few hiccups. Not all the stops promised to us were actually stopped at for example monkey land. This was frustrating when you look forward to the stops in the 8 hour drive We booked this as we were reassured the drivers would be safe and the vans would be air conditioned but unfortunately neither of these were correct. The vans were not air conditioned and we drove 8 hours on the first day from fes it was awfully hot and our driver was very unsafe on the roads (and didn’t speak English so couldn’t communicate this) The Sahara desert itself was beautiful and the camp was lovely including the meals. But it did feel we were passed from tour guide to tour guide we didn’t have one consistent tour guide the whole trip the driver would just park and tell us where to go. If I was to do it again I would do a private trip as you then have more control about the poor driving, probably have air conditioning and could make sure you don’t miss stops.
