Ifrane - In Ifrane, take a short 15-minute break and have a cup of coffee before continuing to the cedar forest of Azrou in the Middle Atlas Mountains.

FULL DAY TO EXPLORE THE MERZOUGA DESERT

Merzouga - Start your day of exploration in the Merzouga desert with a delightful breakfast at your riad.

Khamlia Gnawa Music - Your first destination is the small town of Khamlia, where you can listen to a unique style of music called Gnawa. The locals, originally from South African countries, play this captivating music.

Todra River - You’ll also have other stops along the way to take nice pictures and learn about the local people and their customs.

Amazing trip - We ⁇ our 4-day 3-night tour with Marocco Fabulous Travel. We booked a personal tour with them and Ismail was our tour guide and guide. We have to say that Ismail was a very knowledgeable and professional tour guide, and a very good guide. We were surprised how careful he was, he was helping us whenever we needed him, and there was no hard sell or any direct sales. From the point of view of the accommodation, he's nice, there's nothing to complain about. In terms of activity, as stated in another comment, we were somewhat surprised to find out that only a little time was spent in the Sahara Desert: only one sunset and one sunrise. The rest of the trip is mostly hiking and visiting the village. One of the places I ⁇ most was when Ismail brought us to visit local nomadic families. We saw him interact with the locals and we felt like we were part of them. Overall we recommend people to join this tour! Especially with Ismail, the best guide!

Unique possibility to explore the Marrocan culture and landscapes - Our 4 days tour was certainly the best we‘ve done during our stay in Marocco. Mustafa as our guide did an extraordinary job in explaining us everything about the local culture with a lot of interesting details we would never have discovered our self. Being from the desert region himself, he could show us some where cool places, were only few tourist will visit. The long drivings felt really short with the conversations with Mustafa and the everchanging landscape. The accomodations were all well chosen. Since there was a sandstorm the first day they even changed spontanously our accomodation, so that we could stay in the dessert the next with good westher. In the 4 days we got so many impressions and experiences so that we would book the trip again at any time and it was worth the money for sure!

Unique tour with Mohamed in Sahara desert ! - We went in a private tour with our guide Mohamed, our guide from the Sahara desert! The fact he was from the Sahara dessert adds so many points to the trip ! We were able to drive wildly in the dessert, visit a real nomad family ( not the ones for tourist) and a meal beside a gas station (only local goes to this restaurant) was the best barbecue that I’ve ever tasted in Morocco. The tour surpassed our expectation and Mohammed drives so well and I was able to understand the hide and seek game between the police / driver, the road hidden language thanks to him, as well as some interesting talks around religion and government. He always wants to give the best advice and a UNIQUE experience to the client. Thank you Mohamed ! Hope to come back to Morocco again :)

Most Genuine and Amazing Trip of a Lifetime! - Our guide Mohamed was incredible---his attention to detail, he answered any and all questions we had, took us to see his family, got my husband a surprise birthday cake, and gave us the most genuine experience we've had while traveling. We loved the country, culture, food, and felt extremely comfortable and safe! I definitely recommend the private tour for a more authentic and flexible experience--just the 3 of us in an SUV made the 6-8 hour car drives worth it! Many stops along the way. Fez was an absolute dream, the desert was surreal. Hands down the best trip we have EVER done! Thank you SO much Mohamed Oubih!

The Sahara - A once in a lfetime experience - We had a wonderful experience Morocco Fabulous Travel on our Fes to Marrakech (via Merzouga) tour. From the time we started our correspondence with Brahim regarding tour options (accomodation, activities, meals, pricing etc) to pick up from our Riad in Fes, to the amazing drive for 4 days with Ahmed (our driver, guide, and extended family member for 4 days !!), we had an out-of-this-world trip. It was my 2nd time to Morocco (first for my wife and two young kids) and I am convinced that one hasn't seen Morocco unless one has seen the Sahara (mind you, the cities of Fes, Chefchaouen, and Marrakech are amazing). Thanks to the MFT team for making this happen. Will come back for sure, and spend more time on the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Loved the company & Hassan was AMAZING! - I've traveled to over 50 countries so I've worked with my share of tour companies & guides. I can say that the reviews Morocco Fabulous Travel earned were extremely well deserved! From the early planning stages, I was impressed with the level of transparency that this company offered. Their website clearly lists all details & itineraries for their tours along with clear pricing options. This was also the only company who specifies the travel time that customers must endure each day in order to see this amazing country. My expectations were all clearly managed from the beginning and Brahim was equally transparent and refreshingly responsive in his communication prior to booking. We requested Hassan to be our guide based on the numerous positive reviews he had received. Hassan did not disappoint. He was kind, informative, easy to understand, and incredibly respectful. An attribute in a tour guide that is often unmentioned, but incredibly important to me, is ethics. I've had many guides who were knowledge and pleasant but clearly had financial agendas in terms of getting kickbacks from shops, restaurants, or other tourist shops they would cleverly bring their customers too. Hassan was the only tour guide I've had that did not do this. He never pressured us to stop at the typical tourist traps and even urged us to avoid buying from vendors at many of the rest stops we visited. The restaurants we visited were because we requested a particular cuisine- and not because he received a kick back for taking us. I can't overstate how refreshing this was. Hassan was amazing!! On private tours we've been on, our experience (and expectation) has been to enjoy private transportation but recognize that we would be joining others when partaking in the activities/excursions we arranged. We were shocked when the guides for our camel excursion and ATV excursion showed up at our camp with only two camels and only two ATVs! Yes, each excursion was private too! When we spoke to Hassan about this, he shared that this was a change the company made several years ago based on customer feedback. I suggested that Moroccon Fabulous Travel advertise this as it clearly distinguishes them from other companies who offer "private tours." I did not see this mentioned on their website so let me be the first to share this: "At Moroccon Fabulous travel, their private tour extends not just to your private vehical & driver, but also to your excursions!" (*Note: this was the case as of our tour in April 2024 but you may, of course, validate this with Brahim at the time of booking). In the spirit of being constructive, I would offer Morocco Fabulous Travel one important suggestion. While the Mercedes van we had was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, the bench seats did not recline which made for a very uncomfortable journey. My wife and I may be the exception but I would strongly recommend that you consider only adding vehicles to your fleet that offer reclining seats. Thanks to Hassan and Morocco Fabulous Travel for an amazing experience!

Spend extra time in the desert! - We originally booked 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour but wanted to spend more time in the desert and were able to add an extra night last minute (literally the night we were in the desert). We were able to spend an extra day exploring the Sahara, eating local food, and seeing the locals. Highly recommend ATV ride for sunset and stargazing at night. Hassan was a wonderful guide for our trip. He was informative, friendly, and welcoming. Communication with the company was really easy and they answered all my questions. Highly recommend this company.

Unforgettable experience in Morocco - We had the best time touring the Sahara Desert with Yidir! If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Yidir picked us up from our accommodation in Marrakech at a timely manner. He drove safely and encouraged us to take in the beautiful view throughout the journey. All the accommodations were beautiful. We loved Riad Gabsi, especially the delicious 6-course dinner. Our camel ride to the Africa Desert Camp was perfectly timed with the sunset. We had more than enough time to take pictures and enjoy the sunset over the dunes. Riad Seria was also lovely and we enjoyed the 24-hour pool. We can’t wait to come back someday soon. Inshallah. Thank you again Yidir!
