- Bab Bou Jeloud - The structure is a triple-arched gate that makes use of Moorish architectural forms, with pointed horseshoe arches and a crenelated top. Both the inner and outer facades are covered in polychrome tiles featuring arabesques and Moroccan geometric motifs, with the outer facade predominantly blue and the interior facade predominantly green-ish. Strangely, the actual doors of the gate seem to close and lock from the outside; perhaps an indication that the French administration saw it partly as a means of controlling the movement of the inhabitants inside the medina

Lovely day trip for a solo traveler - Karim was a very nice tour guide, he picked me up in time and he took me many places and waited for me if I wanted to buy some things. I visited the wood museum and learned from a weaver/tailor how to properly do my hair with a scarf. I learned about the different tapestry styles and saw the leather tannery. It was a fun day and I felt safe throughout the whole trip.

All good - Again with this tour, I was fascinated by the beauty of Morocco and the history it offers. The narrow streets of Fes are beautiful and each one of them has a different theme and story which I liked a lot. Concerning the tour, it was all good and the guide was very good and could explain to me some things in Portuguese when I was struggling with some terms so I have nothing bad to say.

Beautiful fes el bali - Chouara tannery is actually my best memory from this tour and I could take wonderful pictures from the top of a riad where the guide Mohammed exclusively took us to apparently. The tour was long enough so we had some nice breaks at many steps of the walk, we drank tea and tasted some good food.

smart guide - Fes is in my opinion one of the most interesting cities in Morocco. I could walk during the tour some very special streets that reflect the moroccan spirit we hear about. Also the guide told me very deep stories and could even make the paradox with the history in Italy which I found so impressive and it put me even more into it. The tour lasted a long time, it was a little bit tiring but it was nice all along.

Nice - As we were getting deeper in the medina the tour was getting more interesting and so it was really nice. The guide Rachid, was a super interesting guy, a nice english and I was impressed by the little polish he knew too. The tour was as described an lasted 5 hours so it was definitely worth it especially when I think about all the people that approach you when you're with no guide.

Nice experience - Very nice experience in Fes. I had a very good time walking the tight streets of the old medina and I would say it was even walking there that I felt the culture shock the most. Definitely a great experience and the tour was perfect as I was imaging it.
