Upon our arrival to Volubilis, we will meet our local guide. He will show a great devotion in explaining most of the historical fact that surround these ruins. The UNESCO classifies it as a world heritage. These ruins date back to the 5th century BC where some of the original mosaics are very well preserved. This site persists through time to prove the glorious past of the Roman Empire in Morocco. This site is full of mesmerizing stories from the time of the Romans. Our local guide will passionately narrate them to us. Our visit includes Moulay Idriss Mausoleum of the very first Sultan in Morocco as well as the Maghreb. The outstanding Andalucian architecture is fascinating in this village. Its natural and architecture design speak wordless stories about the glorious past of this region.
Our trip includes Meknes, or the younger sibling of Fez. This city is the first capital of the current dynasty under the reign of Moulay Ismail. It is famous for its 40 km long city walls that preserve the most beautiful gate of Morocco: Bab Al Mansour. A Christian Portuguese captive built it as a price for his freedom after arresting him on the costs of the kingdom fighting against the corsairs of the Sultan. Its walls are more 1.5 meters thick to sustain cannon attacks of rebellious tribes as well as foreign powers seeking to seize control over Morocco. After lunch, we will visit the Royal Stables, which housed up to 12,000 horses of Sultan Moulay Ismail, the granaries and Lahdim Square. In the old medina of Meknes our road trip ends. Our professional driver will drive us back to Fez to our accommodation.

Amazing trip to volubilis and Meknes - I would like to thank you for your help my trip through Morocco was wonderful especially with this agency never making you feel like you’re asking for too much to be honest I had a lot of preconceived notions about traveling with a travel agency but the trip that I had was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. from the beginning all the staff have been very kind and have assisted us to make our journey more comfortable they pay attention to small details our driver was very gentle smiling all the time and nothing beats a great smile he made our day in Meknes and volubilis It’s hard to find such good and reliable friends when you are on a trip, but now Yassine is our friend and I would definitely go with them on trips in future.
I will recommend them to everyone.
