Take a guided tour of Fez's Old City, and take it with Rachid - Excellent tour of the Old City that covered all the main landmarks and highlights (madrasas, tannery, mosque, souks, city walls) and a ceramic/tile crafts workshop! I highly recommend taking a guided tour in Fez to get a lay of the land, since the Medina is a confusing labyrinth for newcomers. And I recommend taking this tour with Rachid! Rachid was very kind, flexible, knowledgeable, and generous with this time. His hospitality was also noteworthy. Many people seemed to know him as they would greet him when we were walking through the streets. He took me to some good shops when I told him I wanted to buy something specific, and even met up with me the next day to show me places we didn't have time to see the day before (I had to leave early for a meeting and shopping took up some time).

Medina guided tour - We had a very nice and beautiful tour together with Rachid. A really nice and sweet man. He has shown us things that we would not have seen otherwise. We have been through the old Medina, through various mazes that others do not see. And we ended up in a beautiful restaurant with delicious pastilla. A very wonderful experience, which I recommend to everyone.

Walk in Fes - Very nice walk in the medina, friendly, very nice experience. Lots to see, lots of handicrafts, museum visits, tanneries were impressive. Nice lunch, highly recommended in Fez!!!

Most memorable trip!! - Rachid was able to open all the Medina’s doors for us. Because of him we had access to every single corner of Fez. He knows his way around really well and many locals respect him a lot!! Traveling with four kids in Morocco/Fez was definitely made easy because of Rachid. He was the perfect choice to take us through the labyrinthine alleys of the gorgeous Medina of Fez in the most efficient manner. Truly an absolute pleasure to be with. We miss Fez, we miss Morocco and above all, we miss Rachid and many other humble and kind people like him. Morocco was amazing!!
