  • Bou Inania Medersa - Founded by Abu Inan Fais between AD 1351 and 1356, who also established the Madrasa Bou Inania in Meknes. It is widely recognized as a significant example of Marinid architecture and served as an educational institution for scholars. The medersa features stunning silo construction, intricate decoration, and a mysterious water clock.

  • Zaouia of Moulay Idriss II - A shrine and the tomb of Moulay Idriss II, who ruled Morocco from 807 to 828 and founded Fez for the second time in 810.
  • Sidi Ahmed Al-Tijani Zawiya - Houses the tomb of an 18th-century Sufi Shaykh, founder of the Tijaniyya order. The Zawiya has a highly ornamented street facade with carved wood, stucco, and beautiful glazed tile.
