Calm way to explore Saklikent and Tlos - The tour was a great and calm way to explore Saklikent and Tlos. Deniz was a great host who was accommodating and thoroughly interesting. I especially recommend the pomegranate juice while exploring Tlos.

Great combo of nature and history - This is a great tour package that combines nature and adventure (Saklikent Gorge) with history (Tlos). The tour guide was enthusiastic, the experience overall was well-organized, and the information shared about Tlos was interesting. If I had to wave a magic wand, I'd provide guests with an extra 15 minutes to explore Tlos. But overall, a great experience.

Just Amazing - Absolutely fantastic day the highlight of our holiday. Tour guide Emre I believe was enthusiastic and got involved. Full of information. The gorge is just stunning. Beautiful but cold! bring suitable shoes and swimwear if you want to go rafting. The history of the tombs was fascinating. Don't miss this day out!

Great guide - Our guide was well informed and she was helpful throughout the tour. What I liked the most was visiting Tlos ruins.

One of the best things we did in Turkey - This is a fantastic experience and a must-do for anyone interested in the nature and history of Turkey. Saklikent and Tlos are very different experiences but complement each other wonderfully to make for a diverse and interesting day. Our tour guide, Atilla, was very well informed and engaging, and took lengths to involve everyone which was very accommodating. Drinks and the entry fee for Saklikent are not included in the price you pay for this experience but both will not set you back much further. Overall I can't recommend this experience enough.

My review is long because this excursion was that good!!! - When I think of this trip I straight away think of our tour guide, I wish I had remembered his name because he was brilliant, very informative, well spoken and clear. Very friendly, helpful and patient too. Unlike done tour guides he didn’t sound like he was reading off a script! He didn’t just share the history and facts of the two locations but also shared a lot about the Turkish culture and traditions with us, something that other tour guides fail to do. The visits to both locations was amazing and we had plenty of time to explore on our own. The guide was helpful in the sense that he explained everything (history and facts etc.) while we were driving to the locations so that time was not wasted once we arrived - which in turn gave us more time to explore the areas ourselves. This was very much appreciated by us all…while can’t other tour guides he just as clever! The pleasant surprise was the location of our lunch…a trout farm! It was beautiful! Stunning! Scenic with so much greenery, small rivers and a couple of mini waterfalls…breathtaking. No one expected this and of course we all had a million pictures taken there. The only thing I will say is the food wasn’t great but to be fair I have yet to experience an excursion that provides flavoursome food and that is say something because I have been on over 200 excursions around the world over the years! Advise to anyone interested in this excursion… • Remember to double check with the tour company the exact meeting point and what time. • Saklikent - water rafting is highly recommanded, it was so much fun and at a very fair price…but wear footwear and clothes you do not mind getting wet because 100% you will get wet! Wear wet shoes but if you are not going to cross the river than trainers is best because it can get slippery there. If I was to rate this place I would give it 100/10! A must visit for sure! • Tlos Ancient City was great but for me personally not because of the actual ruins…you see, I have seen a few in Turkey and I now kind of feel like I have seem them all! For me as far as Turkey goes, the ruins in Ephesus was the best I have seen followed by the ruins in Hierapolis. Anyway, going back to Tlos…the various scenic views as I hiked up the mountain to see the ruins was absolutely beautiful…OMG kinda beautiful! So for this reason I will advise you to have sensible shoes and HIKE UP! I wore trainers but be warned, there are some loose rocks and you may slip and break a bone or two if you are not careful. • The drive throughout the excursion was in a modern air conditioned bus and the drive itself did not feel too long because to each location from the privies was no more than around 30-45 mins and the views throughout was lovely. Overall I would highly recommend this tour especially at this fantastic price!

Beautiful sites, but don’t do them on a tour - Well, the destinations that you visit with this tour (Saklikent and Tlos) are beautiful, you will certainly enjoy them. A positive for me was that you are left to your own devices and don’t have to walk around in a large group with a guide. Another positive was being picked up directly from the hotel. Someone in a car from the tour company brought us to a bus stop on the route that the tour bus took, which was helpful. Unfortunately beyond this I would say this tour is distinctly average, and if you have a car on your holiday you should just visit the destinations on your own. While the entrance fees were small, they were not included in the high ticket price for this tour. I don’t see why the guide couldn’t be given funds from the tour company to pay us in when we arrived, when we already paid so much for a ticket. The lunch was also very poor, the worst food I had in Turkey. A drink was not even included, again you had to pay that additionally to your tour ticket price. Finally at the end of the day we enquired as to whether the same man in the car who brought us from our hotel, would also meet us off the bus to take us back to our hotel. Our tour guide didn’t know anything about this. We didn’t even know exactly where the bus had picked us up! The man in the car had just dropped us off and told us to wait for the bus. Thankfully our guide arranged for a taxi to take us back to our hotel and he paid the taxi himself. This was so poor from the tour company though, we would have just been dropped off somewhere we didn’t know and had to pay to get home. In summary, beautiful sites to visit but I wouldn’t really recommend doing so through this tour.

Worth it if you don’t have a car - The trip was nice, however, not worth the money considering you need to pay for the entrances and the carpet making village was not included. Although we thought we would be given a guide into the canyon and into the ancient city that was not the case. Save your money if you have a car and visit the places on your own, you can read a wikipedia page and find the same info.
