- Akrotiri Archaeological Site - Our first stop is at the archaeological site of Akrotiri, one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean Sea where archaeologists continue excavating. The settlement was destroyed in the Theran eruption sometime in the 17th century BC and buried in volcanic ash which preserved the remains of fine frescoes and many objects and artworks.

Insightful - We loved learning and seeing more of Santorini! We loved learning about Akrotiri Archaelogical site, seeing the Red Beach, and Castelli of Pyrgros. We weren’t able to see the Monastery because it was closed but we were happy with all we saw. Our tour guide was very insightful and very friendly. Definitely recommend this private tour with to anyone visiting.
