An amazing day in Santorini - This is only my second review in TripAdvisor, I really needed to do this one, Makis was just special , professional, as passionate as you could expect from a real local guide proud of the island he was born and grew up, his knowledge of details of the history of the island are probably unmatchable, he offered the possibility of customizing our tour based on our interests and recommended places that we have to go back to, half way through the day and visiting the Black Beach he took us to a restaurant where we had the best fish we have ever had, he handpicked the waiter, the fish, and made it a great experience, and the end of the tour we went to a winery, a special one and did some wine tasting, am excellent experience!!! We already gave his contact info to a friend of us that plans to be here in the next month and we will definitely be back and ask for him to be our guide.

Great communication - I actually missed the tour due to being ill, but the guide contacted me repeatedly to see how I was doing and to offer to reschedule me if possible. 5 stars for being a great person.

Fabulous specialised tour of Santorini - Markis is amazing! His knowledge and passion are so obvious and he planned our trip so that we fit an unbelievable amt into 4 hours. We’ll be recommending him to all of our friends who travel to Santorini as well as to our travel agent.

MAKIS IS THE BEST - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Makis made our trip to Santorini absolutely unforgettable. My boyfriend and I visited Santorini as a part of our cruise and my dad is the one who recommended Makis’ tour. As a true local, he was able to give us an incredibly detailed guided tour around Santorini. We were able to cover the highlights of the island from black beach, a beautiful winery and the incredible Oia in just six hours. We are so grateful to have Makis showing us around and his recommendations were always spot on and with the limited amount of time we had, he was able to show us a fantastic day. The only recommendation I have to others who are meeting for their tour at the top of the cable car, get there two hours earlier than you think, maybe three on busier days. The line was incredibly long and the cable car takes only so many at a time, we waited in line for an hour and a half and we were lucky to get through so quickly. Within three days, I was already recommending this tour to other travelers. Our experience was absolutely worth every moment. Thank you for such an incredibly insightful and amazing tour!

Absolutely wonderful, private full island tour of Santorini ! - 03/16/23 We had an amazing private full-island tour of Santorini by the owner of Santorini Magical Travel , Makis Gajrilis ! We were picked up by our villa at 10 am and we’re together for 5 hours. We rode in a comfortable Mercedes sedan. Makis was a most excellent tour guide with passion for Santorini as a many generational full Santorinian and unparalleled knowledge of the island, it’s history, culture, food, and present day. He tells lots of fascinating stories in perfect fluent English and speaks very clearly. He is a gracious host and opens doors for his customers and we made coffee and food stops for sustenance. Even though there was a national strike today with many attractions closed, he was able to improvise with flexibility and provide us with other activities and places to see with suggestions and getting our in put. Makis is the guide you should get for your small or larger group tour! He will help you with all aspects of your visit to Santorini ! You will be happy and most satisfied !
