Highlight of Santorini - We really enjoyed our hike from Fira to Oia. It took us just under 3 hours with a 5 year and a 7 year old who managed it well. The walk was beautiful and well worth doing. I would recommend taking a picnic to eat along the way if you set off late morning like we did.

Best experience in Santornini - This hike was one of the best experiences on our recent trip to Santorini. Our guide, Arsenios, was excellent - a true local who provided us with a wealth of information on the natural surroundings and history during the entirety of the hike. Aresenios also provided the right amount of guidance and encouragement to keep us motivated to complete the hike - which is challenging in some parts. Such a memorable experience for us!

Do the Hike!!! - Arsenios was amazing and the hike was very enjoyable. Some of the best views we’ve seen on our trip !! Towards the end the hike goes uphill on rocks/gravel can be a little tough but nothing too bad just make sure to bring water. We opted to forgo our taxi that was included to explore Oia longer and find one own way back. Oia was so overcrowded it was miserable but we walked to end and down about 400 steps to ammoudi bay. You can’t take commercial taxi but they have a small water taxi that is 100 euros for 4 people that will take you back to Fira. We had amazing lunch and drinks while on the wifi next door before our return trip. Very fun full day, our only regret was we left Fira so early not much was open so we didn’t get to explore much.

Great Hike from Fira to Oia - We had a great time with Arsenios. We got to see so much of Santorini up close, walking thru the ritzy hotel districts, business areas, out in the country, with spectacular views of the sea, past churches. This is a 7.8 mile hike, up and down; be prepared. We learned about Santorini from a native, we enjoyed wonderful weather, and even got a recommendation for an incredible lunch back in Fira. Note that Fira is filled with tourists - this is a great way to get away from the crowds. Absolutely would do it again.

An amazing experience - It was amazing! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and was really great! It’s a great activity for those who are active. May be more difficult for those who aren’t.

Highly recommend!!! - Our tour guide was amazing! He was so through with his explanations and his knowledge of the island was priceless. The hike was fairly strenuous so pack water and sunscreen and comfy sneakers. It was a lot of fun and was an excellent way to see the island

imerovigli to oia hike-walk - This was a casual walk not a guided tour - we departed from the centre of Imerovigli and parked our quad bike in the public carpark. It is not a easy walk - more a trail hike with different terrain through out, so loose scoria, some paved, lots in cobbles. So you need good shoes and a reasonable level of fitness - like you can climb 3-4 flights of stairs ok! The constant was the spectacular views and wow moments as you see amazing hotels and houses along the way. Its a must do… easier was is into Oia.

Loved the walk, not the guide - The views from the walk were spectacular including iconic pictures of the blue domes, the cliffside hotels and restaurants. Our guide however, did little to add to the experience. She set her own pace and seemed to be in a hurry much of the time. Although advertised as included, no water was provided. We were offered an opportunity to buy some at the start if the tour. Pickup service at the hotel is a bonus, however, they were 25 minutes late.

OK - The guide was professional, prompt, and nice. The tour was along the path from Oia to the capital and is approximately 3hr hike with fantastic views. Great for pix. The guide could have given more information regarding the island, plants, or history. I would not recommend this hike. You can easily do this yourself. Route well marked and safe. Few places where u must walk along the road. I expected more.
