The tour commences with a breathtaking view at the island’s famous caldera, a remarkable spectacle. Proceed to Firostefani for a brief 15-minute halt, a conventional village with numerous small churches, offering an understanding of the island’s past. We behold the Volcano before us, along with Imerovigli and Oia. The adventure proceeds to Imerovigli, where we can view and capture the caves, the prior dwellings of the island’s inhabitants. Next, we venture to the brink of Imerovigli to witness the renowned Skaros, a UNESCO-protected mount that seemingly floats mid-air, and capture images of the vicinity. En-route to Oia, we witness the hues of red, black, and yellow volcanic lava on the mini bus’s left, and on the right, we see the Caldera, Aegean Sea and the second submerged island volcano, Coloumbos. Our tour concludes at Oia.
