You’ll grasp all the essential principles, materials, and techniques required to create your own oil painting still life.
This workshop is perfect for beginners but also caters to more advanced students, with personalized instruction for each participant.
Your painting journey will include:
- 5 mornings, 3 hours each day (totaling 15 hours)
- A lecture and demonstration on materials, methods, and color mixing
- Selecting an Old Master painting from our collection to replicate
- Transferring the drawing to an oil-primed linen panel
- Creating a tonal underpainting to establish values and contrast between light and dark shapes
- Painting in full color
- Refining edges and brushwork
- Adding finishing details
We’ll ensure your painting is packed for easy transport home.
NOTE: You can start on any weekday.
We offer classes from Monday to Friday, so if you start on a Tuesday, your last day will be the following Monday.

We welcome both absolute beginners and more advanced students. The instruction is tailored to each student’s level of experience, making it perfect for everyone.
