In the company of your expert guide, learn about the Cathedral and its construction through the centuries and how it came to be the center of Florence’s religious life. • The Baptistery of St. John - See the Baptistry famous with its famous golden doors, all located right in front of the cathedral Santa Maria Del Fiore. • The Cathedral of Florence is an “operating” church and it can be closed to visitors for any liturgical reason, even without warning (for the funeral of a Bishop, for example)
  • Consider adding buffer time before your next tour, because the Cupola climb may take longer than expected

A joy of history and art - A great, educational and informative journey through the early history of Florence . Eleanora (apologies if I have got your name wrong!) engaged us in the wonders of her city. The detail of David would never of been seen or understood without her enthusiasm and clarity. Highly recommend

Amazing tour of historic sites in a beautiful city - This is a must do tour when in Florence. Our tour guide was Debra and she was quite passionate about the history and culture of Florence. The skip the line ticket to the Academia was well worth it as we did not have to wait even a bit. The line in the dome was not as kind. None-the-less, the overall tour of all three sites was well worth booking this tour. Highly recommended!

The good and the bad - The Davis statue was simply amazing. Lines at the Duomo were extremely slow and long. Guide was knowledgeable. Some time should be allowed for bathroom breaks.

It’s all about the climb! - Our tour guide, Anastasia, was amazing and extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of Florence and the sites we saw. We started in the Academia, waiting about 15 min. to get in on a Tuesday morning. We saw the David and a few other artworks, then went to the Duomo. The climb was challenging but there are multiple breaks and the views are breathtaking. Keep in mind, this tour provides you a 72-hour pass to the Duomo, its museum, the cathedral, baptismal building, and bell tower (if you want another climb!) We enter just the Duomo in this tour, but you do get to see the inside of the cathedral while waiting. You can then go back and enter the above-mentioned areas 1x each with the same ticket, but on your own time. I recommend planning this tour so you have free time afterwards to fully utilize this ticket.

Recommended but you only spend 45 minutes in The Accademia - Sadly not enough time in The Acadamia - only 45 minutes but the rest of the tour was great and the bonus was that your ticket gives you access to other sites - we didn’t know this at the time so were unable to make use of it I would recommend that you take water up with you when you do the climb and don’t worry if you can’t make it to the top as there are two places where you can turn around
