Family trip to Accademia - What a beautiful museum! Seeing the statue of David was truly amazing. Our family enjoyed our experience.

Worth the money - Skipping the line is a must
You don’t need a guide to get through this museum as it is very small compared to Louvre or Uffizi, we were in before 9 and had the David mostly to ourselves, 30 minutes later it was 30 deep
Get down there about 20-25 min early to make sure you have time to find you tour company and there are dozens hanging around all giving out tickets

Academia Galleria and Michaelangelo's David - Skip the line tickets are a necessity to view Michaelangelo's David. There was no waiting to enter the Galleria.
We are glad that we had an early time. When we left the Galleria, even the advanced ticket lines were getting long. The place to exchange the voucher for tickets was easy to locate. The Galleria offers more than the David sculpture; we enjoyed the other sculptures and paintings. Time we'll spent.

David David David - The David is well worth seeing when you are travelling through Florence. The Accademia is filled with tourists, so just be patient.

Delivered what was promised. - Buy your ticket in advance . Keep an eye on your emails/whatssapp. We had a late request to change times- which we couldn’t because of other tour commitments. Notwithstanding it was sorted out and we kept our original time and the provider delivered what was promised.

Average ticket reseller - This was your average experience buying from a ticket re-seller. The assistants were easily identifiable and handover was professional. Priority access is a bit of an overstatement as the tickets place you in the same line as everybody else who booked at the same specified time slot. Otherwise this went as expected.

Time slot bumped - We had 9:30 tickets reserved months in advance and were told the day before that we had been bumped to 10:00 am. When we showed up with our voucher to get the tickets they then bumped us to 10:15. We booked three trips through Viator for this vacation and two of them bumped our time slots. The museum was great.

It is not a good idea!!! - It's not worth it because we still had to wait in a long line. It is not a priority.
We also prefer to have the ticket in our hands when purchasing it and not be looking for a young man in blue.
