A definite must do - The Vespa, the winery tour and especially our guide Alessandro was fantastic. There is something very special about the leisurely pace of riding a Vespa through the wonderful rolling hills of Tuscany. Alessandro referred to the Vespa as a way of life, not just riding a Vespa and I can now understand this.

Wonderful way to tour the Tuscan countryside - Riding on a Vespa was a wonderful way to view the Tuscan countryside. The tour operators were careful and thorough and concerned about both our safety and making sure we got a good dose of the history of the region and the beauty of the landscape. The Vespas were in excellent condition. The stop at the vineyard was great - the wine was good - we brought some home with us. We would definitely recommend this as an excellent way to get out of the city.

Recommended! - Had a very nice day on the Vespa in the hills of Tuscany. Beautiful views, and a lot of time on the scooters, which were of good quality. We made a few stops with beautiful views, and in between we did a tasting at a local winery where we also had a delicious meal. Had a great day. 😊

Tooling around Chianti on our Vespa's - Had a great time riding around Chianti on our Vespa's. Lorenzo did a great job keeping us safe and guiding us through mostly carless roads. Had a great lunch at the winery we visited. Highly recommend!!

The Tuscan countryside Vespa tour far exceeded our expectations. It was the highlight of our Italy trip. - The tour was perfect, from the Vespa ride with views of the olive groves, vineyards and hills of Tuscany to the delectable lunch and wine and olive oil tasting in a beautiful winery in San Gimignano. We enjoyed the company of 3 other couples from other parts of the world and loved our guide, Valentina. This tour far exceeded our expectations and is definitely the highlight of our trip to Italy.

Not for the faint of heart, busy city streets and lots of cars to contend with. - Be aware that the tour does not offer hassle free hotel pick up as stated in the description. You must meet them at the Porta Roma. From there you go on a 45 minutes long van ride to the companies office for 2 hours of paper work and safety tests before you get on a Vespa. The guide was not mean and a little off putting, but definately would not say he was fun or engaging. And be warned that the tour starts and stops on very busy city traffic streets with several round - a- bouts to navigate and we even seemed to be on a highway within a few minutes of being on the Vespa. Never did I feel like we were in the countryside. We were always on paved roads. Yes, there were some beatiful views, but it is hard to enjoy them when you have cars constantly close behind you or swerving around you. This was not a relaxing experience!!! However, the winery and lunch, was the best I have experienced in all of Italy.

Not worth it. Sounds great, but is not - There is not enough staff for large groups. We were 6 plus another 6 there. Took forever. After all of the paperwork and testing, the last person failed the test despite driving a scooter at home. No refunds. The staff was very nice and got us to a winery instead. The other group finally left after being in the shop for hours
