A MUST IN FLORENCE! - My husband and I agree this is a must do! In fact it was probably my favorite experience in Florence. The views are spectacular! The climb is broken into 3 parts so get a breather every 120 steps or so. The view of the cathedral from inside the dome is amazing. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes and enjoy every step.

Breathtaking - Opting out of the dome climb, my wife's knee was not cooperative and getting the guards to let us pass into the cathedral. On the minus side, we waited for several minutes at the door across from the Lindt store before we realized that the line to our left was our way in. Minor inconvenience once we got inside the beautiful cathedral. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we suggest for everyone coming to Florence

Worth the tickets to skip the line - These skip the line tickets were great. We received them the night before our entrance time along with detailed instructions on when and where to go. The view at the top of the duomo was breathtaking.

Logistics on a Sunday - We went on a Sunday, so things were closed. Not the fault of Viator, but it was difficult to navigate through the done climb without a guide. Our guide was very helpful but the entrance was hard to find.

Dome visit was excellent - The walk to the dome was worth it for the views. The visit to the cathedral was not worth queuing for. certainly not in the "free" line. The signposts outside the cathedral are poor. The people who provided the tickets were responsive on WhatsApp.

Not good value - We decided not to climb the dome due to my vertigo. However, there was no so-called skip the line for any of the included activities. The line for the cathedral was about two hours long so we didn’t go in. In fact that’s not quite true; we took our time-slot for the dome climb and just had a quick look at the cathedral from afar (there was no proper access via this route) and decided it wasn’t worth a two-hour queue. And the “crypt” entrance (for fast access to the cathedral) was nowhere to be found so if anyone knows where that is, post it on here. We thought the ticket was very expensive given that we missed two of the inclusions (partly our choice I admit).

Nothing but expenses! - Buying the ticket was very disappointing. We received the tickets by email the evening before we visited the cathedral complex. There was no one at the agreed meeting point. I was turned away four times at the entrance control and sent to another door. After standing in the rain for a long time, I finally managed to get into the cathedral. There was no way I could get in without having to wait in line. The high reservation costs were pointless. For other attractions, I bought the tickets on site and saved the reservation fee. Entry was usually very quick and without any problems.
