Embark on a journey to one of Italy’s most magical terrains with our tour to Cinque Terre: a sequence of five villages, majestically suspended between heaven and ocean, acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Set amid dramatic coastal backdrops, the Cinque Terre paints a beautiful picture of softly hued domiciles, slender stone-paved lanes, petite harbors and terraces teeming with vineyards, olive and lemon groves. Start your day early as you leave from Florence by bus for Manarola, the starting point of our tour. Subsequently, travel to Vernazza, Monterosso and Riomaggiore via local rail and boat. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable day of exploring a genuinely natural utopia. Tour size is maintained at a maximum of 12 individuals for a deeper, more personal exploration experience.
- Giving the particular nature of the area, the standard itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions, traffic, strikes, etc.
- The public boat service, along the Cinque Terre, runs from April to the 3rd week of October, subject to weather conditions
- When boats are not operative, connection between villages will be by train
- Due to the high volume of visitors and the nature of the area, during the high season the villages and the local train/boat, could be very crowded
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

Other than train... - Other than train disruptions, this was a great day. Illaria was our guide and she was so amazing and communicative. High ratings for her to manage group of 20 people with train delays and many tourists.

Roberto was amazing! - This day trip was exactly what we were looking for! Roberto our guide was so knowledgable, he always made sure the group stayed together and he knew all the hidden/secret spots most tourists didn’t know of. You get to see 4 of 5 Cinque Terre villages and our favorite was Monorola. The day does get kind of long, so by the end of the trip when we were at the last village we planned to stop at we went to a little bar/cafe recommended by Roberto and the outdoor patio overlooked the ocean — it was phenomenal! We felt very pleased with the things we got to see and do in each village. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour - It was a small group (16 people) and our tour guide Sebastián was exceptional. He provided us with a real understanding of the rich history of this beautiful place. While also suggesting what to do while in Rome. Overall i loved the experience of traveling throughout (on a bus, train & boat) this tour. It allowed me to try out one of the foods that they are known for (pesto sauce). It was a day well spent and I recommend it to all.

Wonderful! - The small group tour was great. We had 10 in our group. Cinque Terre was very beautiful. Our tour guide, Kazzua "Kate", was fabulous. She gave us good instructions and was very attentive to make sure our group needed to be at the right place at the right time.

A magical experience in the Cinque Terre - What Ana amazing experience our family had on this tour. We travelled from Florence to the Cinque Terre and had an outstanding guide, Cristian. Cristian was thoughtful, kind, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, very communicative, gave thorough explanations of our trip (along with very clear directions and helpful hints in navigating the cities), inclusive of all (young of heart, to the actual young), and made our drive rich with information about Italy and the Tuscan region. Day in Cinque Terre - Originally signed up for small group tour maximum 8 which then changed to 12 which than became 22. It was a gorgeous day in a very beautiful place however there were train issues which caused a shorter time in each location so it was very rushed and not enough time to enjoy each beautiful village. This was not the guides fault but unfortunately changed the day’s dynamics.
