Perfect shop for bike rentals in Florence - Florence By Bike is the best place I found to rent road bikes for riding in Tuscany out of Florence. We were here for two months and we rented bikes multiple times. They have a large selection of bikes of all kinds (including e-bikes); we rented road (racing) bikes. Though I’d prefer to have had disc brakes rather than rim brakes, the bike fit was great, and their mechanic Massimo was very friendly and helpful. They were flexible on pickup/return times (open 8am-1pm and 3:30pm-7pm; closed Sundays, at least for now). Even though the shop looks small from the street, it is large and has a variety of equipment and accessories.

Family bike rental - Well maintained bikes, awesome selection and shop! Staff are friendly and accommodating. This was our second rental from them and it was just as great as we remembered. We rented two city bikes and one children’s bike for our daughter for the full day. There were no issues, locks and helmet provided. Thank you! We will be back!

Good bikes and very helpfull staff - Very friendly and helpful staff. The woman in the shop was also sharing her tips on where to go bicycling in Florence and Tuscany. We rented a track bike but was offered to use a city bike for the day in Florence, and then pick up the track bike in the afternoon. The bicycles were in a good condition and good to ride. Excellent experience, highly recommended!

Recommended for Road Bike Rentals - This is an excellent shop with a good selection of road bikes for rent and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended. NB I had a Giant TCR for 2 days and rode around the Florence region. Not to be missed!

Top rate service, quality bikes - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Online rental was simple and everything was ready when we arrived at the shop. Bikes were in excellent condition, they got our pedals on, gave us a repair kit, double checked the bike adjustments for each of us and we were on our way. Bought some jerseys to remember our trip. The countryside around Florence is amazing. Look forward to renting from them again to explore even more. No surprises, only smiles!!!!!

Perfect bike renting spot - They provide top service. We booked 2x bikes for 1 day; unfortunately entire day rain forecast. The super nice administration lady there enabled us to switch booking day flexible to the next day. She could have demanded us to take the bikes at the rain day; as I asked for rescheduling too late; which she did not do. We had 2x E-Bikes, they were great to cycle all around Florence. I would definitely book again there.
