Highlights
  • Via Matteo Palmieri, 31 R - Discover the art of making FRESH PASTA, just like our grandmothers did in Italy. We’ll guide you through each step of the process, ensuring you master every detail.

Our COOKING SCHOOL is nestled within a MEDIEVAL TOWER dating back to the 1200s, mere steps from Brunelleschi’s Dome. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Dante Alighieri, the father of the Italian language, as the tower once belonged to his wife’s family.

Our team consists of seasoned chefs with extensive experience in top Italian kitchens.

We handpick the finest seasonal vegetables and the best products Italy has to offer. From FLOUR to RAGÙ, we’ll craft authentic Italian pasta from scratch, just as it was done during the era of the Medici family, the Renaissance patrons.

WE WILL PREPARE 3 TYPES OF FRESH PASTA, including RAVIOLI, TORTELLI, and PAPPARDELLE. Simultaneously, the Chef will create complementary sauces such as butter and sage, arrabbiata, and traditional Tuscan ragù.

You won’t need to bring anything, as we provide all the necessary equipment. At the end, we’ll savor the dishes we’ve prepared together.

Throughout the experience, we can enjoy fine TUSCAN WINE or unlimited

Great experience - Lorenzo was great. He had a lot of patience and was always helping everyone. From the way he was giving the class, you could see he has a passion for it. We had a blast. Highly recommended experience. Just one note to improve: the description talks about wine during the experience, but it's almost stricted to red wine.

Pasta Pasta Pasta - It was a great experience. Amazing date idea I think. Making the pasta was funny and surprisingly simple. Don't worry about messing up. Its practically impossible with the chef helping you out. Lots and lots of delicious pasta. I love pasta. 10/10 experience.

Fun, learning, and eating all in a one stop shop - What a fantastic experience for our whole family! Chef had the stations individually prepared with all the ingredients and tools necessary and at the end, we all got to enjoy the meal we prepared with our new friends. I highly recommend this pasta making activity!

FANTASTICO!!!!!! - We had so much fun with David. We have made pasta before but his technique was different and much easier. The sauces were simple and made from his grandmother's recipes and everything was delicious. We left the restaurant so full from our homemade pasta lunch. David shared his experience as an executive chef and the various health benefits of our dishes. Highly recommend.

Great cooking class in Florence! - A really great cooking course was a group of 20 of us and we learnt to make three different pastas and then the chef leading demonstrated how to make the sauces. You are given the recipes at the end which are on his Instagram. Was a lot of fun, lots of wine and we were very full after.

Family-friendly pasta party - We had a great time with three generations of our family making pasta. The chef walked us through the steps and the backgrounds of the recipes and he helped everyone feel comfortable at their own pace in cooking. And it was nice that soda was offered for our non-wine-drinking friends.

Keep looking…. - Our group did not enjoy this experience - 2 adults and 2 teen girls. This is what didn’t work for us: 1) everything is shared cross groups- you do not get to eat the pasta or filling you make. Bummer! This was a deal breaker for me on the hygiene front. Not all participants washed their hands in the start and in pasta making you use your hands. We were able to flavor our own ricotta filling…encouraged to taste it along the way so people were dipping spoons and taking bites then adding more ingredients and using same spoon as we all believed we would sample our own final product. I asked the instructor are he collected the first round of pasta how we would know which ones were ours and he said it is all shared. We stayed to make the pasta and then left for the meal. My children have taken cooking classes back home and the business just used a divider in the pot so each student could eat their creation. For us, this spoiled it. 2) room was incredibly hot, windows to outside patio closed as another class was taking place there. We took the class in early June 3) they could add some light Italian music in the background while we are creating the pasta- Chef’s instructions are quick so wouldn’t interfere
