Waiting time to enter the museum can reach one to two hours or more, but with priority-entrance admission, your guide directs you inside to begin the tour. The priority entrance tickets have a timed entrance. Those who arrive late will not be able to enter with the group. As per museum regulations, latecomers will enter seperately.

Tour guide was fabulous. ... - Tour guide was fabulous. She was knowledgeable, great sense of humor. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Would recommend to take this tour. Victoria was really great!

Great tour! - Our guide was fantastic! Very easy to understand and very nice. We could only do the tour for 1 hour due to some scheduling changes on my end. Note that the tour begins from the time you get inside the museum, not the time one spends outside waiting to get inside. So when we finally got inside, we only had about 20 minutes.

Extremely passionate and knowledgeable guide! - Tommy our tour guide was brilliant! He was really enthusiastic and passionate about the subject matter - I’m so glad we booked as it allowed us to see a depth to the David statue that would have otherwise been missed! Definitely a tour to book if you’re in Florence!!

Learn and Laugh - The tour was the perfect length and the guide was knowledgeable and witty. The tour company provided umbrellas to make sure we stayed dry. Good time had by all.

Great tour, fascinating! - Laura, our guide, was exceptional. Passed on detailed knowledge of art history in relation to the era lead up of the making of David so we had a full understanding of how it came to be. Whole tour was efficient & seamless. Highly recommend!

David Deserves a Tour. Excellent - The best part of visiting the Academic Museum was the tour guide. ( I don't remember her name but she was from Romania). She explained the history of Michelangelo and his passion for drawing. She walked us to and through the exhibit and prepared us for what we were seeing. Excellent

Must do! - Definitely a must do tour so you don’t have to wait two hours in line. Museum is fabulous and our guide was wonderful.

Worth visiting. - The museum was amazing. The tour guide was knowledgeable but a bit controlling. Guest should be able to choose whether they want to stop and take photos. Didn't like be corralled. It's about the overall experience not being treated as a child on a field trip.

Needed free time alone with David - The customer service was good as they called while we were en route. They started promptly. Thomas our tour guide told a lot of jokes and when he got passionate about a story his English was more difficult to understand. When we got to the gallery with the David I would have preferred he gave us time to explore and met back up with questions. The standing in one spot for 5-10 mins at a time wasn’t great as we had another museum to get to after we had to leave immediately following this one hour tour.
