Additional Information

What is Florence without Renaissance? Together we enter the past, and we will bring it back to life! I am introducing you the great women and men who made Renaissance possible and we are entering the place where it was born. We will deal with the Medici family whose members were men and women of such open mind as to foster the greatest cultural rebirth in the world, as well as the great Maestri who left their painting and statues to the future. My password? Storytelling! Because in my several years of study I have understood history is something too cool and important to be told in a boring way! History is made by people, so we are talking about them! It is exciting to understand how in little more than a century a humble country family managed to become the most powerful dynasty in Europe. Let’s find out together the most popular buildings of the most vibrant city in the world. NOTE: - the tour lasts 2 hours - bring water with you - wear comfortable shoes - bring good vibes!

Wonderful morning with the Medici family of Florence - It was by chance that I attended this tour with Camilla, having booked another tour, which got cancelled. And thankfully, it did, as otherwise, I would have missed this wonderful experience. I got to know so much about the history and arts in Firenze and the role of the Medici family in it. I think Netflix should make her the brand ambassador of the series. It was a two-hour tour, but we never felt bored. Her energy, as well as storytelling, is something to be inspired by. She also sent us a lot of recommendations on Firenze.

Intriguing, profound and revealing - Intriguing stories that deliver profound details about life, significant people and influencial families of Renaissance Florence. Spellbinding and performed with not little personal touch. You will want to book the next tour with them.

Great walking tour of central Florence - Really interesting 2 hour walking tour around the key sites in the centre of Florence. The focus is on the Medici family and the Renaissance, so you look at the Medici Palace, the Duomo, the Signoria and the Uffizi. Our guide Camilla was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable, not only answering questions but also giving advice to make the most of our stay in Florence. This walk is a stand alone tour but it also works well with the ‘essence of Florence’ that this company also runs, which is more focused on medieval Florence.

Florence, it’s story & Manuel walking tour - Excellent tour~ Manuel Messina gave us a “story” of history, hidden passages we would not have noticed, historical items to notice on buildings, why so many towers, in a very informative tour that kept your attention! A new way to look at Florence. Highly recommend!

Wonderful! - Excellent background to the history of Florence told in a lively and interesting style. Manuel was very knowledgable and told us so much about Florence that we would never have noticed from walking around by ourselves. Great tips for the rest of our stay in Florence which made it so wonderful.
