If you can only do one full day winery trip, this is the one to take! - Our guide, Simone, was such a pleasure to be with for the day. This is absolutely the best full day trip we could have done and we made new friends and enjoyed every minute. If you can only take ONE trip during your stay in or hear Florence, this is the one! Small group and attentive wineries made for lots of fun and a little bit of learning while we were there as well! If you can spend the day with Simone, you will not regret your investment! Bravo, Simone!

An amazing experience that is well worth it. - Our tour guides were very informative and made the experience so great that we will remember this for a lifetime. Plan on buying some wine to have it shipped back to your country. Don't pass on the grappa, it's really light and complementary and ilthe end of the tour.

Fantastic guide and wine - This was a great day. Our guide, Simone, was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, all of those. We learned so much from him. The first winery—organic and small—was just terrific. Again, the owner/winemaker was terrifically open and knowledgeable. His wines are really lovely. His farm stay was so inviting that I’m sure we’ll be back. The second winery was good, not great. The lunch was quite nice, and the wines were also very good (albeit a bit expensive). It was a good experience, just not as personal as the first. I really can’t say enough good things about this company.

De Gustibus was wonderful to work with & the wine delicious! - We had a great experience with Gilberto (fabulous driver & guide) and De Gustibus. We visited 2 wonderful wineries, walked around Montalcino for a bit (satisfying my husband's desire to see a medieval town), and just had great wine, conversation and food. Both wineries were small and felt very intimate and personalized. We stopped and got to do the view over Piazzale Michelangelo on our way back into town. Very easy communicating with them to get it set up, picked us up at a location closer to our hotel and ended up just being the 5 of us so felt like a private tour. I highly recommend reaching out to De Gustibus and doing a tour with them. You won't regret it!

Two Wonderful Small Wineries; Exceptional Tour Guide! - We chose this tour because we wanted to focus on Brunello di Montalcino wines, and it was fantastic! We learned so much from the winemakers about their biodynamic winemaking processes and the wines themselves. Our hosts at each winery were warm, welcoming and generous with their time, and it was fascinating to talk to them and hear about their experiences. The wine and food all tasted great, and Montalcino and the Tuscan landscape provided the perfect environment. I can’t say enough good things about our guide, Tommaso – an outstanding guide with extensive knowledge that he was happy to share with us. He is obviously passionate about his work, about Tuscany, and about promoting the region's small wineries. During the beautiful drive from Florence through the Tuscan countryside (and also as we wandered through the center of Montalcino), he told us about the area and provided explanations about what we were seeing along the way and what we would see at each winery. It was also a great opportunity to ask questions and have interesting discussions about a wide variety of topics. We enjoyed his company tremendously! I can’t say enough good things about this tour or about Tommaso – it was definitely a highlight of our time in Tuscany! I recommend this tour to anyone looking to spend the day immersed in Montalcino wine culture with an exceptional tour guide who feels like a friend by the end of the day.

Tasty wines, delicious food and wonderful views ! - I took a tour with Tommaso and Simone a few days ago to discover the Brunello di Montalcino, it was highly higher than my expectations. The winery owners are very kind, have delicious wines and cook very well. They made me discover the different wines of the region and I even had the chance to have a bonus stop to discover a new winery that was on our road. I can ensure that you'll have a great experience! 2020 may be the best year to do this tour because you'll taste he millésime from 2015. Thanks again Tommaso and Simone.

Brunello Wine Tour in Montalcino - Highly recommend this wine tour in Montalcino! Gilberto, our tour guide was wildly enthusiastic as well as an excellent guide. He was even able to book us dinner reservations post tour at a local restaurant. Mamma mia! We would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about local wines without the crowds!

Wonderful Experience - My wife and I booked the Brunello di Montalcino tour as the last hurrah of our vacation in Firenze. We had an amazing time touring two different small and off the beaten path producers of amazing Brunello. At the second vineyard, after a very informative tour of the production process, we had lunch prepared by the grandmother of one of the ladies working at the vineyard. The food and hospitality was just amazing. Gilberto was our driver and tour guide. He was very friendly as well as knowledgeable about wine production in Tuscany. De Gustibus Tours was easy to work with and very reliable and trustworthy. I would 10/10 recommend this experience to any wine lover or anyone looking for something fun and unique to do in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

Brunello at its best - Had a wonderful tour with Gilberto to Montalcino for a winery tour. We were lucky enough to witness the bottling process prior to starting the tour of the castle and cellars. Lunch was outstanding and afterwards we drove to the Fortezza for additional wine sampling. Lovely day, lovely tour.

Lovely getaway - We had the most perfect trip out to Montalcino from Florence. Gilberto was an excellent host! The wineries we visited were lovely, family-run wineries with high quality, small batch brunello production. We would absolutely recommend others to try this tour (especially if Brunellos are one of your faves).
