We’ll initially make our way to Siena, a city renowned for its medieval architecture and priceless works of art, and recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site. Our journey will commence at the Basilica of San Domenico, followed by a visit to the ancient city’s remarkable viewpoint. Next, we’ll pay a visit to the house and sanctuary of Santa Caterina, before reaching the iconic square featuring the Duomo and the medieval Santa Maria della Scala hospital. Our tour continues to Piazza del Campo where we’ll see the Fonte Gaia and Torre del Mangia — perfect spots for picture-taking. The stunning Palazzo Tolomei and Palazzo Salimbeni are on our way back to the vehicle. Leaving Siena behind, we will return to the rural area for an authentic Tuscan meal in Monteriggioni’s medieval castle. After a brief downtime for shopping and relaxation, we’ll indulge in a fantastic wine tasting session at the elite winery of Villa Trasqua. Our return journey to Florence includes a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, home to the city’s most romantic panoramic viewpoint.
