Additional Information

In this two-and-a-half-hour session capped at 10 to 12 attendees, you are assured of direct engagement with the culinary tutor. Absorb the art of molding and stuffing traditional pasta, understanding the primary dough for filled pastas, and master the techniques of perfectly combining it with lip-smacking sauces.

Despite being a collective class, the menu will be mutually decided considering everyone’s palate.
Seasonal and certified organic produce only! There are instances where we go the extra mile and prepare the cheese for our dishes ourselves – a truly homemade experience.
The mentor possesses significant exposure with the North American and European market, allowing her to direct you with your shopping back home.

The fillings range from cheese, slow-cooked meat, delightful veggies, or fish, all organic, in-season, and locally acquired.

Great class for eating and learning! - We enjoyed this class! We had never made pasta from scratch before and it was very easy for us to keep up in the class. Really enjoyed all the knowledge from the teacher and eating the pasta at the end of course!

Hands-on pasta making! - We had a small class (5) with Roberto which was amazing. This is a hands on class-you create the pasta and then eat it for lunch or dinner-and we were involved from the first few minutes. Roberto's knowledge of Italian cuisine and pasta is vast, and what's more he is able to convey it so well. We are accomplished cooks including making our own pasta and yet we learned so much in this class. Highly highly recommended!

Our favorite experience in Florence!! - We had so much fun making everything from scratch! From chopping the herbs to kneading the dough for the noodles it was a fun and entertaining experience. We had three older teens in our group and they all said it was 10/10. The food was delicious too and we look forward to trying it at home!

Amazing experience - We had the most incredible time at our cooking class. Roberto was a great teacher; good fun and informative. We loved the whole experience and the pasta we made was delicious. The class operates at the back of Tuscan Taste which is a fabulous wine bar; I’d recommend getting there earlier and enjoying a few drinks here beforehand. This was a great experience and I’d highly recommend you do it.

Fun and Delicious Day! - My wife knows her way around the kitchen very well. I do not know how to make toast. Chef Vary made the day enjoyable and educational for both of us. She knows how to teach to the most experienced as well as the beginners. Plus, she makes the class a lot of fun. If you want an enjoyable day with an opportunity to learn how to make authentic Italian food sign up for Chef Vary's class.

An absolute MUST! - We had the most incredible experience with Irene! Chef Vary was also wonderful. Because no one else booked class aside from our group, Irene let us make some customizations to our pastas, which we loved. She was so funny, we learned so much, and most importantly, it was truly the best meal we had during our time in Florence— which says a lot because every meal we had was incredible. Thank you, Irene!!!
