Search for fresh ingredients at Florence’s historic central food market before traveling to our
beautiful Tuscan farmhouse in the countryside. On arrival be prepared to roll up your sleeves,
you will start creating a complete menu, from appetizer to dessert.
Master the secrets of traditional dishes that you will easily re-create at home for your friends and
family. The cooking lesson is suitable for beginners and for those who can already cook.
Then finally we will all sit together on a terrace hosting incredible views over the Tuscan hills and just like a big Italian family, we will take time to enjoy the food we have prepared together,
complemented with Chianti wine. Buon appetito!

Start this culinary experience by gathering local, high-quality ingredients from a historic food market in Florence, then make your way to a charming farmhouse nestled in the picturesque Tuscan landscape. Prepare a sumptuous spread of pasta, bruschetta and Tuscan roast pork, and sweeten the experience with fan favorites like tiramisu. Sip on up to four different Tuscan wines throughout the day while savouring your homemade delights. You’ll also receive a cooking diploma and recipes to take home.
- We regret that vegetarian or other alternative dietary requirements cannot be catered for
- On Sundays and public holidays there is no visit to the San Lorenzo Mercato Centrale (instead there will be a visit of the vegetable garden at the estate where you can pick the fresh ingredients)

A couples experience to be had - My wife had one desire to do a cooking class when we came to Italy. This class far exceeded any of out epectations.
We had Luca as our guide and primary chef. His comedic timing and interludes made the cooking entertaining and informative. The ease of the process and simplicity of the ingredients betrayed how incredibly delicious the finished meals were. Everything was clean, fresh, and wonderfully paired.
The short bus trip from the train to the villa was informative and offered spectacular views.
Overall, there was not one bad part of this experience. The staff, the food, and the other participants made this a 'must do' for any visit. We will definitely be trying the pizza cooking course next time through.

Market tour and cooking class - I can't say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed this tour! Luca was a fabulous host. He was hilarious as well. He explained everything so thst we understood easily. Lucia was great also! She and Luca made a great pair of teachers....and very patient! Our end results were delicious! Thank you, thank you!!!!

Great family day! - This was a terrific activity with teenagers. The setting is amazing - and air conditioned! Carmella - the chef - is a delight. We will definitely go back for another tour with this company.

Market Trip/Cooking Class Was Great - Levi was an excellent guide and educated us on all things Florence culinary. Really enjoyed the trip through the authentic market. The cooking class was located in a beautiful setting and we learned basic techniques and ate delicious food...best roasted pork I've ever eaten.

One of THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF OUR LIVES! - I would give more stars if it was possible!! It was one of THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF OUR LIVES - cooking in Tuscany. Amazing food, and more incredible - we did it together. Impeccable place with gorgeous views only a few minutes from Firenze downtown!! My kids and wife love it!! Thank you, Lavi and Carmela. You are great and did a wonderful job!

Book this tour! - Excellent time with Luca and Carmela. Very fun and informative. Learned the best way to make bolognese sauce, pasta and bruschetta!! Definitely investing in a mezzaluna!

Highly recommend this experience, well done Lucca - Absolutely amazing day, made all the better by having Lucca as our tour guide. From the moment we checked in, to the experience in the market and the cooking class at the farmhouse, it was amazing. There were 4 of us, mother, father, daughter and future son-in-law and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lucca not only provided us with wonderful recipes but knowledgeable and experience was outstanding. He also added alot of humour to the day. We would also like to give a special mention to Lucia who assisted with the cooking class. Highly recommend this experience

Cooking, wine and laughs! - What an amazing experience! We got to tour Mercato Centrale, learn how to make various dishes and most importantly, share laughs. Lucca and Carmela were such lovely hosts and teachers. It’s clear they care so much about creating an experience for all their visitors. Thank you for sharing your passion!

Don’t book they only want your money - Definitely wasn’t the best tour or the worst tour I was on I don’t recommend for anyone going solo to do this it was a wast of a day the view from their farm was only ok wasnt the iconic Tuscan view the tour guide was just a little much for me this company all they wanted was to milk as much money out of the tourist coming there were way to many people in the class so not everyone got to do everything you aren’t really cooking your just assisting if you even wanna call that, the only thing you do on your own is make the pasta it felt like every 5 minutes or so the guide was trying to sell you something from their shop which only took cash which is stupid if I had a dollar for everytime he said and you can buy this from our shop at the end of the tour I could have paid for the tour for me and someone else I did not enjoy it at all maybe if you have someone to go with the experience would be better but there is definitely better your out there steer clear of this company
