Great tour to get a taste of Tuscany - Very well run tour to get a taste of Tuscany. The stops in Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano are short but enough to enjoy the views and the local vibe. Great job by Roberto and Raffaele, thank you for a great day.

Exceptional - Beautiful tour of the Tuscany Hills. The two wineries we visited were amazing. Roberto the tour guide and Rafaele the driver were very kind and professional to the group. Robert was very knowledgeable about this beautiful area. Loved that the tour was done in Spanish and in English!

Val D'Orcia is magnificent on a sunny spring day - We took the Val D'Orcia tour, with wine tasting paired with cheese in Montepulcino and wine tasting in Montalcino, plus a visit to Pienza. Checking in with Ciao Florence was smooth, as was the entire tour, leaving around 8.15 am and returning early evening ahead of schedule. The rich green hues of Val D'Orcia on a sunny day in late spring are magnificent, particularly set alongside the warm stone of the buildings in the three towns we visited. The views from Pienza were particularly good. As well, each of Montepulcino and Pienza had interesting historical churches and other buildings to visit, with somewhat less in Montalcino. We aren't wine buffs, so for us the wine tastings were a mildly interesting extra, but the wines seem to be appreciated by our more knowledgeable fellow travellers. AUD150 or so each for the tour is a significant outlay, but the price compares well with other similar tours and it is not easy to get to see Val D'Orcia any other way if you're not travelling by car. Overall, this tour was one of the most enjoyable days of our Italian holiday, and well worth the expense. Thoroughly recommended.

Whirlwind Tuscany Tour - Not quite what I was expecting but very enjoyable and well worth the money. This tour seemed to emphasize the views of the Tuscan countryside more than others that seemed to emphasize Tuscan towns like Siena. I had envisioned that we would spend some time at a winery in the countries. In reality we visited 2 wineries in Tuscan towns which had great “postcard views” of the countryside from the town. The towns were all beautiful. At the second town we visited, I had probably my favorite meal in Italy at a place that the tour guide recommended. Our tour guide was exceptional. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Good sense of humor to keep us entertained. Had the right balance of guiding us but also giving moments of peace to enjoy the scenery. English was very good. Overall a great experience.

Great wine tastings - Wonderful views and great wine tastings including one in a cave! Lots of walking and hills to climb....fairly strenuous activity. Not easy to navigate.

Beautiful views, steep hills, yummy wine! - We went on this day trip with 4 adults, one of them being our elderly mother (76 years). Our tour guide was Gabriel and he was excellent. On the bus ride to the first stop he gave an informative overview of the trip and explained all of the ways we could find each other again if we happened to be separated. However, Gabriel was so thorough and attentive that this was never even a slight possibility. All three stops as well as the scenery in between the stops were just gorgeous. I couldn't stop taking photos. We had plenty of time to wander the small towns we visited and never felt rushed. Gabriel gave wonderful advice and directions for each stop and even arranged an unscheduled cheese tasting (which was delicious) in the small town of Pienza. The shop owners were so friendly and inviting. It is worth noting that one of the stops was very difficult for our mother to walk up the hills and stairs, they were very steep. Gabriel did a great job of waiting for us and never pushed us to hurry and she was able to get where we needed to go, but it was challenging. Also, the wine we tasted was delicious, we cannot wait for our shipment to meet us when we arrive home. Overall this was a wonderful tour and we are so happy we went.

Wonderful Tuscany - This was a fantastic day trip. The check in was very easy and the bus trip was a joy. Our guide Sara was very informative and was clear with her instructions. The wine tastings were also great. Especially the brunello tasting we did in a garden with fantastic views of the valley below

Fun day with the family - Had such a nice day stress free of driving and exploring some Tuscan wineries and some pecorino cheese too! . We got to explore Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza. Ciecly was such a pleasant and informative tour guide who speaks English, Spanish and Italian. We had an extra surprise of seeing a movie production that Adam Sandler is in and even got to see him arrive onto the set! Marco did a wonderful job driving the small winding roads to get us there and back safely!

Nice coach transfer, didn't feel like a guided tour - First the good: a great day on a coach seeing three Tuscan villages and a lot of beautiful landscapes in Val d'Orcia while in transit. The driver, Marco, was great, very smooth, safe and punctual. Wine tasting was ok, explanations felt a bit simplistic and repetitive. We thought the day could have been planned better as we only got 50 minutes free time in Montepulciano, the biggest of the three villages, and almost two hours in Pienza, which is a lot smaller. My advice would be to skip the wine tasting in Montepulciano so you can actually enjoy the village. The second issue we had with the tour was the guide's commentary: her English was not great (it is also my second language but she didn't seem at ease in it). The commentary was very plain and simplistic, a lot of stating the obvious and we didn't learn much. For example, when talking about Pienza as the first example of the application of humanist urban planning concepts, we didn't get any explanation of what those concepts are. Cecily was otherwise very nice, kind and smiling but I feel like she needs to work on her commentary and on being more at ease with public speaking in it.
